Ridiculous how easy a path Michigan gets to the finals. As far as seed numbers they played maybe the easiest in history.

I don't buy this argument one bit.  If they had played Xavier instead of Florida State, would you say that?  And, if so, how do you reconcile the fact that Florida State beat Xavier?  Or, maybe you think North Carolina would have been tougher.  But, wait, Texas A&M beat Carolina and Michigan beat A&M.  And, if Virginia, Cincinnati, Tennessee, Arizona, and UK were not good enough to make it out of the South region, how can you assume that they would have fared any better than Michigan than Loyola?

Beilein is a very, very good coach, no doubt. One of the best. But, showing how fragile the tournament is, he was a 30ft contested 3 at the buzzer by a freshmen away from losing in the Sweet Sixteen.

Yep, and Indiana was a missed free throw and a Ricky Calloway last second putback against LSU in '87 from not making the Final Four that year.

Sorry but the fact is based on seeding their path has been very easy.  That is life in a single elimination tournament. The best teams don’t always win.

I would give UM a good chance v either Kansas or Nova.

GreT that the B1G has made it to the FF regardless if it's not the Hoosiers.

Enjoy this tournament. CAM will have us on the national scene soon enough

What do you want to do?  Re-seed after every round?  You play who you got in front of you.  Just the same as Indiana High School tournament play.

Nope I love the excitement of March Madness. Just making an observation about Michigan’s luck.  It’s historic.

Crazy, you’re right man. Rico again doesn’t know head from tails

Not sure that shot was necessary.  People have differences of opinion.  That's what makes the board interesting.  I personally believe that, seeding or not, Michigan beat the 'best' team they could have played at each round of the tournament.  Loyola was in the Final Four because they deserved to be.  They won the South region.

Look at baseball.  Clayton Kershaw, who is the best pitcher of this generation, lost his first game of the season.  Not, because the Giant pitcher, whoever it was, is better than Kershaw, but he was that night.  Loyola was the best team on the floor the first 4 games they played in the tournament.  For THAT night.  They were not the best team tonight.  Michigan was.  The fact that Loyola was an 11 seed should not diminish what they did, nor should it diminish what Michigan has done up to this point.

The point is that by the stats Michigan has had an unprecedented run to the finals. Being the first team to not play a seed higher than 6 is a fact. Based on that you can say it’s the easiest road to the finals ever

comparing that to Kershaw losing game one of his 30 starts makes no sense
