They absolutely do.  I was watching a coed youth league game with kindergarten and first graders this weekend.  The refs let travelling violation, after travelling violation, after double dribble, after illegal screen go uncalled.  I let the refs have it big time.  And, what happens, I"m the one that gets escorted from the gym.  It should have been the refs.

Being an aau coach and listening to players, other coaches, and fans complain are some of the highlights of my weekends.

Usually a good idea to avoid making ridiculous arguments like that, lol

Yeah.  I don't think they have much if any effect on the outcomes of games. Lol... I just don't whine and play the victim, maybe that's your type of thing. Idk. And it's certainly not something I dwell on when my teams lose. (Whether I'm a coach or a fan)

I agree.  If my team isnt good enough to win despite 1-5 horrendous calls....  If I let the refs occasional ineptitude bother me, its easy to become embittered and look for them to be bad always casting shade on a sport I love lessening the enjoyment of my favorite team(s).

Yuuup and with me coaching younger grades, I don't want to start whining because it absolutely will translate to my teams demeanor. Just not how I look at things. The Pacers with PG would whine and complain constantly.. they never won close games or made a comeback in games. The Pacers with VO.. are tough minded and just keep playing and attacking.. they've won like 8 games this season when they were trailing by 15+.. and are 11-2 in 3pt games and are undefeated in OT. That's no coincidence.

I have been called a master baiter from time to time.

Two wide open three’s and Vic downright chokes on both. If you want to be a star, you’ve gotta knock those down. LeBUM is still a crybaby bitch.

I hear the frustration, but even the best shooters in the NBA miss more than they make from behind the arc.  Sometimes it's harder to hit the open ones that the guarded ones...you expect the guarded ones.

Thanks to the Pacers for the wakeup call. When the Cavs try, the Cavs win. The King showed that he is better by himself than the Pacers are altogether. If the Pacers win another game, I would be disappointed. Go Cavs and Go Hoosiers!

Pacers 6-22 from 3.

Also LeBron played well, but not sure if he beats one on 5 :coffee:
