CauseThatsMyDJ
Game Preview When: Saturday 12/1 at 1pm ET on BTN Vegas: IU -8.5 ESPN: 66% chance of IU victory KenPom: IU: #23, Northwestern: #47. 74% chance of IU victory, predicts final score of IU 74, Northwestern 67 IU Scouting Report Northwestern Scouting Report Our shooting is significantly better, with a higher 2P and 3P%. Northwestern does not shoot the ball particularly well, but they take better care of the ball and shoot free throws at a much better rate. Defensively things are more even. We are very similar in FG% allowed, turnovers forced and offensive boards allowed. We do a better job defending the 3, while they are better at defending the paint. If we limit turnovers, our superior shooting should see us coming out on top of this one. Containing Vic Law will be paramount.
IowaHoosierFan
i feel we aren't a really good shooting team. We get alot of shots around the basket but if we had to rely on shooting mid range and long range balls, i would't really want IU as my team. Maybe i am way off but its how i feel. Am i crazy? Hoosierhoopster
^^ You're not crazy, we mostly have streaky shooters, however, we have Fitzner from the outside. I'd like to see him utilized more, the guy can flat out shoot.

Northwestern is well coached, and well organized/disciplined, but our guys, at home and after that beat down, are going to come out focused and intense. When nothing was working against Duke in hostile Cameron indoor, it was Fitzner who could still knock down shot after shot.

CauseThatsMyDJ
We have three players that are shooting it well from 3: Fitzner (57%), Morgan (56%) and Durham (43%). There's then a steep drop to 33% for Phin and Damezi. Everyone else is sub 30%.

addictedtoIU
I looked into NW's lineup against GTech, and it was quite interesting. They got a great deal of length. This might be a difficult game even at home. Starting lineup: Law 6-7/Turner 6-7/Kopp 6-7/Pardon 6-8/Taylor 6-6 Bench: Nance 6-10/Benson 6-10/Ash 6-3/Gaines 6-
