RU Hungry was my truck, back in the day - before they opened their store front, and before the parking lot with all the Fat Sandwich trucks was turned into a dorm with outdoor foot court. Probably had a fat sandwich 2x a week while at RU, and I'm sure it's taken years off my life. The Fat Darrell pretty much my "go to" when I was at RU, and was printed on a sheet of white paper taped to the side of the RU Hungry truck as a new extra menu item my sophomore year. Chicken fingers, mozz sticks, bacon, FF, marinara... all wrapped up in a sub roll, paper, and foil, for $5. Tasted great on the walk back to the dorm late at night.... but you had to finish it before you went inside, because fluorescent lighting was not its friend, lol The guys who owned the trucks were amazing with names, faces, and orders - there'd be a crowd of 10-20 people around each truck, and they'd spot a regular walking through the parking lot, call them out by name, and ask if they wanted their usual. Good times. Edit: Used to be the trucks were open until 3am... four worked the morning/lunch shift, and 4 worked the dinner/night shift. Then a fight broke out after the bars let out at 2am, and the school forced the trucks to close at 2. Once that happened, two of the truck owners bought storefronts a couple blocks away and offered delivery.... now the trucks have been scattered around campus, and that "8 trucks in a campus lot" feel is gone. Looking at conference only stats, the only players shooting more than .250 from 3 are Rob, Al and Green. I've not heard anything about Green being back but that leaves Rob and AL, Al has been 3-14 the last three games. So I am going to predict that AL starts hitting again along with Rob and together they befuddle the now well known stop IU by stopping the drives at all cost defense and we win this going away. Or I could go to bed pis…. off once more? As a side note the supposed 3 specialists off the bench, Evan and Damezi are a combined 1-17 during conference play. Don't think we are going to get the bench to change opposing teams defenses😖 Side, side note everyone wanting McRoberts to shoot 3's he is 0-9 in conference. Archie can't shoot the ball for them? I thought Race was cleared last game? I understand it's going to take him quite awhile to get back in playing shape, but not making the trip?
