The refs aren't costing the Celtics the game, they're just making it extremely uninteresting, and as a Celtics fan very frustrating. To your point about him being the one guy you don't want to leave to help off of the Big Three, this is what makes the Nets so scary. You are pairing perhaps the best spot up shooter (at least in terms of roleplayers) in the league with three elite scorers. The math just doesn't work out for a defense when all those guys are playing. Even if you don't help off of Harris and you help off of Blake Griffin, the second pass is resulting in a wide open look for someone you don't want getting a wide open look. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I don't think there is anything they can do, especially without Brown (not that he'd be the difference in winning the series, he'd just help make it respectable). Gotta make Green, Shamet, Brown, Griffen etc beat you. Just like when Golden St teams forced Harrison Barnes/ Iggy to beat them.
