You’re the only person in the world that would take a sophomore Newkirk over a junior Yogi, but okay. And I don’t care if it’s freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior Yogi, I’m taking him over Rob every single time. Your subjective opinion of his “selfishness and lack of defense” aside, he was always capable of being the lead guard of a Big Ten team and putting the team on his back. Rob is not. Yes, that game. I was wrong on the year, but Newkirk easily outplayed Yogi in that game. I never said I would take him as a sophomore over Yogi, just that he was better for a game which kind of kills the notion that Yogi as a sophomore could come in and dominate all of our guards now. The notion that Yogi as a sophomore was some dynamic player that consistently carried a team is false. We went 17-15, we didn't have a player that could consistently carry a team. Indy1987
Barring injuries or a major meltdown looks like PU, OSU And MSU finish top 3 in the B1G. Some have UM at the 4 spot. But taking a look at the remainder of the schedules watch out for Nebraska. The scheduling God's gave them a softy. Go Hoosiers!!!
