If he can’t compete for minutes against JG or Banks then he doesn’t benefit us. Not saying any of these 3 aren’t good players but I don’t see any reason he couldn’t compete from day 1 against those guys.

I don't think anyone is unseating Banks once he gets mins.

Geronimo will be graduated and Banks will be a Senior before Sisley suits up for a college game.  These aren't the guys he's going to be competing against for minutes.

And, to that end, if a kid from Santa Claus, Indiana has a choice to be a non-starting rotation guy as a freshman for IU or a guaranteed starter for somewhere like Boston College, well, the choice is pretty simple, isn't it?

Good call, forgot he was that far out. That’s what get for posting at 1 am lol. It sounded better in my head than it does now.

Saw a post on another board where Sisley had 36 points, 19 rebounds and 9 blocks in a double overtime win tonight.

Here is that stat line

36p; 23r; 4a; 2s; 9b; 5t. 5 of his reb. were off the offensive board. 12-24 FG; 2-4 on 3s; 10-14 FT.

Thru 5 games: 28.0 ppg; 12.4 rpg; 3.8 asst; 2.0 stl; 3.2 blks. 60% FG; 43% on 3s; 81% FT.

24 games in the '21-'22 season: 19.9 ppg; 9.2 rpg; 1.6 asst; 1.2 stl; 1.3 blk. 57% FG; 40% on 3s; 76% FT

Kid is special and really likes some of the things In the IU program. Still very early but it's nice to be out in front before the Big Dogs come sniffing around Santa Claus

Coming to visit not on a gameday? Seems like they might want to see all the things that go into day before game ,etc....

Crediting a source, from Btown Banners:

"More from Weingarten - Sisley will visit Indiana for another unofficial visit on Saturday for their (Sunday) matchup with Michigan State, a source told @Stockrisers.  Will obviously be observing both teams, as they’re both (along with others) heavily involved."

Not sure if this means he'll be at the Sunday MSU game or not.  Maybe just seeing prep the day before.

Jan 21 update:

In his game last night, Trent had 31 pts. on 12-13 FG; 7-7 FT; 6 reb; 3 blocks.

For the season, he's averaging over 27 points 10 rebounds on 66% shooting.

Another Jan 21 update:

Rabjohns Tweeted that Top 50 player Trent will be at IU on Sunday for the MSU game.  Trent visited MSU earlier this week.

I like PM's regarding recruits lol

Sorry guys. I know it looked like I have info on Sisley. I am just expressing what others on other sites have. I have no info.

I thought maybe Coach Robby did with a couple of his comments in this thread. Which is why I PM'ed him.
