I completely agree, but I’m worried we’re going to see the Usain Bolt/Michael Phelps effect. They were both huge and brought their sport new audiences. Their sports did a good job of marketing them and nothing else to keep those fans. Everything is marketed as the Caitlin Clark show without any real mention of anyone else.

I’ve always had pretty good results with wings on the kettle. If you cook them hot enough they do get crispy. These were indirect at around 450-500.

I got some Super Bowl wings on for tonight. Just salted them overnight and put a basically salt/pepper rub on them. The local Publix (we just got one) had some sauces on sale so I grabbed a few of them.

I completely agree. The other night X had a could reviewed to see if it was a play on the ball. It seemed like it obviously was and it was only reviewed out of reputation. The F1 at Illinois was similar. I think it was called out of reputation and Hawkins overreacting. Still, a sixth year senior needs to know better.

That is a good video of Edey drawing a foul by hooking his arm around the defender. I don’t see anything on the video that makes me think it is a defensive foul.

I’d add that for slicing you can usually get it done at the butcher counter. They’ll take something that’s wrapped, slice it, and repackage it.

I’d second Weber. The travel ones come in 14” and 18” and are solid. The performance may not be much different than the Expert, but they should last much longer. One thing that may be worth getting for an apartment is one of the better models of the 22.5” that has an ash bucket instead of just a tray.

Assuming they are in the portal this is a non factor. if they’re planning on entering the portal it is just how things go. There have been multiple IU players that officially enter the portal with people knowing where they’ll end up. I like being on the other end of that.

I was going to go back for the Bananas Foster but it was gone. I’ve seen a lot of the Backyard Stout but that just doesn’t sound very good. I did manage to get a 2022 Newton today. Im cracking open my first 2023 original for the game today.

Starters came out aggressive and played really hard and that was fun to watch. It also made a difference in the score. The best 3 halves have been the last 3. It’s almost like Woody knew what he was talking about when he said it would take time.

I almost got the Banana Foster today, but the prices for all of the variants is steep. I have a few bottles of the original to cellar and one that I’ll drink soon.

Who’s the bag man? I will say I don’t love that visit. UK has been solid for a few years now. I’d like to think IU has a bit more of a bag now so that could come into play.

I agree with most that McCulley should be a top target to keep around. I don’t know how much the offense will change, but I think every scheme could use a big, athletic receiver that can make a catch through contact. Howland really stood out late in the season. He has a combination of size and speed that anyone would want. The OL showed some improvement over the last few years and has some solid pieces that would be nice to keep around. I assume Sorsby is gone, but Williams could still be a solid piece. I’m not too concerned about QB next year. I think someone will be ready to go there.

Could that be about the $3 million ‘appearing’ for NIL. They may be implying that something was keeping that money from coming out while Allen was coaching. That was my first thought. There are some good videos on YouTube that show how to trim brisket. Chud BBQ is one I like. I also cut my finger tonight. Mine was a box cutter while I was cutting shipping tubes for something I’m working on.

Brussels Sprouts are very underrated. I think too many people grew up with boiled or steamed ones. If you roast them with some seasoning and let them get crispy they are great.
