  1. There are some good videos on YouTube that show how to trim brisket. Chud BBQ is one I like. I also cut my finger tonight. Mine was a box cutter while I was cutting shipping tubes for something I’m working on.
  2. Brussels Sprouts are very underrated. I think too many people grew up with boiled or steamed ones. If you roast them with some seasoning and let them get crispy they are great.
  3. Collectives - Give us the money and we’ll take care of it for you!
  4. Aren’t they all kind of like this? I haven’t seen anything in NIL that is transparent in how much they take in and how much they pay out. They all come across as “trust us, we’re helping” without any proof.
  5. I assume ESPN will move them up to #1 for facing such a tough non conference opponent.
  6. Anyone know if the standard BTN will replay the game at all? I’ll be out all day so it isn’t worth the money to watch it for me.
  7. He was there. I saw him come in and sit down. Im not sure if he was there all weekend or just Friday.
  8. I thought he was the best analyst they had for a while. I’m not sure what happened with him. He’s always said no one eats their own like IU, but ignores the fact that he’s th worst offender.
  9. Can we get a donation of old land line headsets to the student section? They can figure their own color schemes.
  10. Weren’t they saying he was a perfect replacement for Grady Dick? I thought I’d heard that one of their big pitches was to show him clips of Dick as examples of how they wanted to use him.
  11. This should be a good test. Is anyone going or familiar with the parking/tailgating situation?
  12. I finally found some Gamday Lager! It is now in the fridge until the tailgate.
  13. I don’t plan on going, but visited Atlanta in December of 2022. I really enjoyed the city. The arena is close to Centennial Park (worth a stroll if you like the Olympics), the aquarium, the Coke museum, the college football HOF, and the Center for Civil Rights. I’d recommend the City Pass if you’re interested in any of them. Atlanta Underground seemed really cool but was shut down. It seems like there are talks about something going in there. If you’re interested in history/national parks the MLK Jr birthplace is there and free to visit. True to my name, Fox Bros BBQ is fantastic and probably the best I’ve had at a restaurant. Horned Owl brewing in Kennesaw was a really cool place.
  14. Did IU pay $11 million dollars to get worse?
  15. We’ve also struck out on Eras tickets. I think we’re going to Taygate in Indy one day. I think there were 3-4 people trying to get tickets with no luck.
  16. I struck out today. The store I usually go to sold out and said Upland in Jeffersonville sold out in a few hours. If anyone sees it you should pick it up right away. Sounds like everyone, at least down around Louisville, is selling it quick.
  17. Founders had some really good stuff. I have a few years of KBS cellared now. They discontinued CBS (Canadien Breakfast Stout), but that had a similar story. For a while it had a Mountie on the bottle but they had to remove it.
  18. Has anyone tried the new Hoosier Gameday Lager? I’m going to try to get some this weekend, but I’m not drinking one until September 2. https://uplandbeer.com/news/upland-brewing-companys-first-official-beer-of-indiana-university-athletics-set-to-hit-store-shelves/
  19. The only rumors I’ve seen were about him drinking too much. The only specific one I remember was something about one of his first days in town where he yelled at someone. Everything that came out and was reported had to do with mistreating players. It was mostly about pushing players to come back from injury too soon.
  20. I haven’t seen that one, but I’ve had Teddy Bear Kisses and some of those variants. I remember getting the original in the bigger 22oz bottles.
  21. The situation at NU sounds pretty rough. I wouldn’t be shocked to see more punishment there.
  22. Good to hear. I guess our guy is going through what I’ve heard called the ‘puppy uglies’ where he looks too tall. Is Yogi named after the Yogi we know for IU?
  23. How big is he? We assumed our guy would be in the 50lb range, but now we aren’t sure. How’s he doing?
  24. Agree on OG. My biggest issue is that they used 1st round picks on guys that couldn’t stay in the NBA. Kind of strained, but it reminds me of that Colts draft (2013 I think) where every pick was out of the league in a few years. It’s not the individual picks so much as the fact that the franchise completely whiffed.
