Proud2BAHoosier Posted December 28, 2017 Report Share Posted December 28, 2017 Looks like the Romeo Langford "Showcase" tour continues tonight as Romeo and the New Albany Bulldogs make their only trip to Evansville. They/He will be taking on the Ev. Central Bears. Romeo should have a career night as the Bears are only 1-5 on the season. Seats are all gone so it will be interesting to see who shows up. They should win easily in Indy and dont be surprised if Jim Shannon turns Romeo loose to do something special. The issue is the game tonight. Jeffersonville is undefeated and has some college prospects themselves. Could be an epic game that takes a lot out of Romeo leading into tomorrow. But I'm still kind of blown away that they've suddenly become a hot spot for 4-5 star recruits out of nowhere after going 19-16 last year. The world of recruiting never ceases to make one wonder what the hell is going on. If Langford ends up there with Garland and Shittu, Drew had better make the most of it if he wants to keep this talent rolling in. This is his golden egg as a young coach if things work out. Or is there some more information? Dakich floated something out on Wednesday about Romeo's Dad/AAU program hearing Kansas but wanted to know where this was coming from? Kid that special is going to win Mr Indiana no matter the hate. No reason to keep us on the list this long if he truly is headed elsewhere.
