Big athletic kid from Georgia standing at 6’5 and can score ant all three levels, as well as an elite defender…. I just saw where he committed to Indiana and is part of the 2026 class via IG. This is strange, because I didn’t even know that he was on the radar!

Fwiw, I haven’t felt good about this recruitment once he decided to go to LaLu. Maybe I’m wrong and he comes, but I’m just not confident here. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to have him in Bloomington.

Hybrid 4, but in today’s age of basketball… he’ll spend a little time on the wing as a spot up at the next level. Handles aren’t bad, but will struggle to create for himself against smaller, more athletic defenders in college. Edit: Will do well inside of 15 ft though.

Watched him play a few times over the summer. While he isn’t an above the rim player… he’s smooth and has a pretty decent touch, with a nice shot at all three levels. He doesn’t play above the rim, but he can get up when he needs to. He’s not 6’8 but a solid 6’7.

Good news is that none of his other schools have landed any Montverde kids recently, and from what I hear, the IU staff is welcome anytime they want to drop by.

He did… that entire team loved them some barley pop, with Jeffries and Leach being about the only exceptions. I can remember many parties with many of the guys from the team back then. TC could do keg stands with the best of them. AJ would get, well it wasn’t pretty back in those days. I’ll never forget going to the Waffle House off of College Ave after a football game and having to get AJ outta the bathroom, because he was passed out leaning against a urinal and stall, barely holding himself up… those were the days!
