  1. Masks isn't a parent's decision. Home schooling their kid if they don't like the rules is the parent's decision or finding themselves a private school. I wish everyone cared about the children's health and gave them a mask for school.
  2. The facebook post was meant to inform people, not to hear the bickering it would have caused had comments had been enabled. Anderson, IN had an outbreak of covid in their school system after being back for 3 days. Guess what, they moved to a mask mandate. The whole free for all didn't protect anyone. Education will suffer if they have to go back to being virtual. I would think all parents would be willing to do anything to keep that from happening and mandating masks is step 1.
  3. But vaccinated people are 4 times more protected from being infected in the first place. However, since kids under 12 are unable to get vaccinated, it's very important to take whatever precautions are available.
  4. I want to go back to things that DO work. If I am wrong and people wear masks for no reason then what is lost? A little discomfort for no reason. If you are wrong and people don't wear masks, then you just helped a pandemic spread. Schools are quarantining those that come into contact with someone with covid. That puts a major burden on families with 2 working parents. So yes, do whatever it takes to slow the spread of covid and masks have shown to slow the spread. No one is being censored. Those people are still capable of spewing their opinions elsewhere or contacting the school board directly. Nothing is served by having people fight back and forth on their decision to mandate masks.
  5. All students under 12 are still unvaccinated. Hopefully my school system gets smart and brings back the mask mandate. Better than going virtual after they get everyone quarantined with covid. Probably a good idea not to allow comments on the mask mandate post. People get so irate over a simple mask.
  6. We have a stellar defensive back field. Now we just need the DL and LB studs. Come on down Curry and Bowen.
  7. Guess that is why we are not talking about this guy.
  8. Would be difficult to play lacrosse at nd and football at iu
  9. How much blame should fall on recruits that partake in recruiting that was illegal? I would assume recruits are aware of dead periods in recruiting so do those players become untouchable or do we just put the blame on the schools? If we get Allen to flip, then do we wonder if he is fine breaking other rules?
  10. Odd that he has an offer from us and florida state but not much else. Our staff must really like him since we wouldn't be in desperation mode yet.
  11. https://247sports.com/Player/Phillip-Dunnam-46113843/ Wiltfong gave a crystal ball to IU with a 6 level confidence. Plays WR and safety in HS.
  12. Everyone knows you don't put lineman in the 3rd row..that's where the punter goes.
  13. That's a possibility. Hard to know if offers are still on the table at the time of commitment. Recruits aren't likely to admit their offer sheet had shrunk.
  14. WVU stinks. that's 2 they have gotten that we were on the short list.
  15. I don't think it would be the first time rivals didn't have the visits correct or at least updated.
  16. I guess rivals needs updated. It has him visiting Michigan St on Jun 25th. Says none next to indiana for visits. https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/2022/shawn-miller-236547#school-interests
  17. Miller didn't even visit IU according to rivals. Guessing that ship has sailed.
  18. B1G East is definitely separating itself from the small west.
  19. noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
  20. the big thing will be keeping them verballed. Although I don't think Allen pushes for verbals before players are ready to do so. Thus, it seems like we get less players that unverbal.
  21. Maybe other schools aren't recruiting him as a rb
