Really hope the following Hoosiers return:
Race (seems clear this is not likely)
Duncomb (not ready, but shows potential)
Bates
X
Geronimo (feel for this guy, he has shown a lot off the bench, but does not seem to reap reward as he should for such play)
Galloway
Leal
and then the 3 incoming of Banks, Hood-Schifino, and Gunn

Mods, major upload issues. Apologies. Please dump redundant posts and my apologies.

News began to leak last night that Tom Crean failed to report a physical altercation between 2 assistants at halftime of recent LSU game. Doesn’t look like this is gonna be drawn out. May be fired for cause as early as today.

It seems like the curse of February is coming for us again. I have a feeling CMW isnt going to let that happen. We may have 6 players in the end but thats not always a bad thing. This i'm afraid is what the portal may bring from time to time, other people trash could end up your trash too, not treasures.
I appreciate that. And would love for message to be received and see them respond.

For the sake of peace, out until April. This is a script I’ve seen. Let’s see what the new roster looks like for next year. Hope for this season? I’ll save that for the sunshine-pumpers. Go IU!

A week ago, the feeling of handling Maryland was a confidence-builder. Yesterday, we got handled at home. As has been the case for several years, passionately following IU is like hugging a cactus.
IU MUST win TUE night. And it won’t be easy. Kopp went off at Syracuse and has been an enigma since. Change that position in the starting lineup and let’s just see. Gotta win. With schedule ahead it is vital.

This is the best series of posts I’ve read after a loss on this board, ever. Thoughtful, logical, passionate and often spot on…said so well there is nothing to add!

Want this one in candy stripes badly. Video I’ve seen shows not only a load of talent, but the type of scrap we want as well. My #1 wish for 2025.

This bunch will always be ready for the big game. Improvement needs to come with the middling teams of the conference.

If he has a strong desire to improve, and does, he could remind one of Victor Oladipo, who’s shooting improved dramatically from enrollment to leaving.

Hope Rob can return to play, but man, he was really starting to get into a groove.
An open door for KL. Hope he thrives and plays well.
First half was dominant. Defense was excellent. Go Hoosiers.

Michigan game wish list:
1. Team demonstrating mental growth by coming into the game focused, with Purdue buzz put to bed
2. Kopp, Stewart and Bates finding 3pt shooting touch all in the same game
3. Repeat ball security from Purdue game
4. Continue to build their identity through defense
5. Move to 6-3 in conference

Man, I had a really long and hard day at work today. Rough in every aspect. When I came home, sat down, and checked this thread, this was the first thing I saw, and I litterally laughed out loud. All of the days stresses melted away. Thank you for this.
Shared because I thought it was hilarious. And in good fun. Glad it was a boost.

Thrilled for Rob Phinisee. He absolutely deserved a game and moment like this. Highlights from the game for me:
1. Trey Galloway getting under Ivey’s skin (reminded me of Sheehey, Neil Reid, Recker)
2. The effort, 24 min, Big Mike gave in allowing IU to stay in the hunt with TJD on the bench
3. The confidence and ball care Rob and X had all game
4. Only 3 turnovers
5. AND, the effing day count by Purdue fans since the last time IU beat Purdue getting a swift kick to the nuts
6. LAST NIGHT IS WHY I LOVE IUBB

Nebraska was a problem in first game breaking our half court D down via numerous straight line dribbles to the rim, that is obscured by the final score, and the injured McGowan is set to return.
Very concerned they get a bit of momentum and this one gets away from us. Hope like crazy I am wrong.

What I would give for Brad Davison’s grit and toughness on the road in just 1 of our guards. Can’t stand the kid, but our team has so many players who, frankly, look scared or at least timid vs Iowa last night.

The propping up of Rob Phinisee is now becoming lost opportunities for other players getting a chance to play. Rob Phinisee is limited in too many ways to justify minutes. Yes, he is an excellent defender, nothing else.
WTF was Race doing in the backcourt of our press break? Terrible strategy. Hurt IU.
Jalen Hood-Schifino needs the keys to the car the minute he sets foot on campus. IU’s point guard play will be the bugaboo on the road the remainder of the season.
The second half uglies:
14 turnovers, almost all unforced
No clue against a soft press
PG play=BAD
5-11 from the FT line
Kris Murray, who averages 9, going off for 29
Wouldn’t beat Eastern Washington playing that way. Remember that one?
IndyKev said it best: tired of watching the same crap year after year.

In God’s name, why the expletive is Race part of the backcourt against the press? It is KILLING us.

What a difference a week makes. Last Sunday, ugly loss at PSU. Since then, 2 double-digit wins against 2 solid teams.

Michael Lewis was the magic sauce behind Tim Miles success at Nebraska. He is doing the same for Cronin at UCLA. He will do big things as a head coach.
