Let's hear it for the USI Eagles Ladies BBall team!! They won the OVC Championship today, but won't be moving on to the Big Dance because of some NCAA cockamamy rule about new Dll teams moving up to D1 can't participate for 4 years!!!

Son of a Beech, what was looking as a promising season for the Yankees just took a big hit as the Yanks Ace pitcher and reining Cy Young winner, will be out 1 to 2 months to start the season. This is something I wouldn't wish for any team, even the Yankee rivals.
Am I still optimistic? Depends on what Rodon, Cortes and Stroman do. I am hoping for bounce-back seasons from them and they stay healthy!! We do have Soto and Verdugo and I hope Stanton can regain some consistency offensively.
