With that buyout I don’t think we will see a change this year even if we go 3-9. But I could see a one more year to fix this type of scenario. If we look ahead to realistic possibilities, I wonder if Kane Wommack would be a good fit? Our defenses were really good when he was our DC.

The most interesting win of the day for me so far is how bad Illinois beat Wisconsin and the same w TCU over Oklahoma (not the win but the margin).

Played Northwestern tonight. After a scoreless first half, Northwestern scored less than 3 minutes into the second half. But then IU scored three goals in 2:43 (all before the 5 minute mark of the second half) and then added one more for a 4-1 win.

Tied MSU last night 1-1. 3-2-2 overall. 0-1-1 in conference play.

A little too early to put him there IMO but I get that’s the way of the world.

OSU hasn't produced a good QB in the NFL since Mike Tomczak.

Men’s soccer beat Akron last night 2-0.

Beat St. John’s last night 1-0. Record on the season is 1-1-1. Game v Notre Dame was canceled.

Massive to see the prez emotionally involved like that.

Has anyone mentioned Tevis yet? I thought he was very active and disruptive, especially in the second half.

IU arguably should not have won that game. But I don’t care. That’s sports sometimes. Love being 1-0. Now go improve. And by the way, that’s 1-0 in conference play. Take it every. Single. Time.

I said this last year. If the safety can’t come over fast enough when the corner blitzes then stop running that blitz!

What I expect - sweep the noncon, and beat 3 of 4 (Illinois, Maryland, Rutgers, Purdue...3 of those are at home). What I hope - win all 7 of those and upset someone else along the way. Yes, I'm choosing to be optimistic. It is certainly debatable if I'm being realistic.
