I just saw from Wetzel (sp?) that UM handed down the suspension.

Is that the only punishment?

So there is a fight on the court. Cooler heads are trying to get everyone to just go to their locker room. Yet obviously things are still tense. And Davison wants to go to the end of the court where Michigan is exiting to sing some school song. To me he is just intentionally rubbing salt in the wound. Did anyone else notice that?

Some of our seniors will move on. I don’t know who and have heard no rumors so I’m not trying to start anything. It just makes sense that some of them will just say it’s time to move on w life.

We studied this about 15 years ago. Back then it wasn't really all that expensive. The expense was in the installation, but then there was virtually zero upkeep and maintenance. The money schools would pay to upkeep grass fields over about 8 years was about the same to install the turf. So, yes, there is expense over the short term, but a wash over the lifetime of the turf field. That was the last time I looked at the financial side so I have no idea what the current numbers would look like.

I know it’s big school hoops but I was in the gym when Gary Harris hit a half court shot to beat North Central in the sectional semifinals. I’m pretty sure we had more people in the gym than the fire marshal allows. Both were top five teams I believe and it was absolutely epic…maybe the best high school basketball game I’ve ever seen.

Oh I do. Have you ever met a band director? The halftime show at a football game is more important than the game itself. It’s like everyone is there that night to watch them.

He retracted that and said he was duped. Personally, I think all of these “rumors” are just being talked about because the media has nothing else to talk about. They’re all just throwing darts.

This was about a decade over due, but it looks great! It will actually open for track in just a few weeks. Edit: It's not actually a new addition. The entire facility is completely new from what you see in the pics to concessions, locker rooms, everything.

Just for fun, I looked up the WR draft class that Scott has been mentioning. Ballard wasn't the only one who missed on wide receivers and the miss on Parris Campbell doesn't look all that bad when comparing him to the others...IF you're only looking at how the Colts used that specific pick. 2019 WR draft class

I was not a Miami fan but those were some fun teams to watch. Don’t forget Nat Moore as that third receiver of that group.

Senior day is not that far away. Is Parker Stewart the only Hoosier that is definitely out of eligibility? It's hard to keep track with this Covid year thing. Obviously, the second question is who else moves on, but I'm just wondering about senior day at this point.

Honestly? Because I thought it was more useful to move this conversation to the IU season thread because the fallout could potentially have an impact beyond this one game. You didn't have to hunt very hard to find it. I told you right where it is.

I posted something on this on the main basketball page in the IU season thread because I thought it might get lost in an old game thread. There is new news.

That's a very fair concern.

I was trying to have a little fun, but no I’m not confident in anything with this team. But I don’t think we necessarily need to finish over any particular team. If we win four more we are in regardless of the standings in my opinion. If we win three more we are still in a decent spot to get in but a win or maybe two in the BIG tournament gets us in. I guess I just don’t think the standings count all that much.
