Brian Hartline has done a great job recruiting and developing WRs. I wonder how he would be as an OC?

2/5 of the OL are transfers. Powell came from Stanford in addition to Carpenter.

Curious where you see that. I did a quick search and I saw a couple that had them in the teens and one as low as 26. Outside of UC they haven’t played anyone who has consistently been in the top 25, though they play a lot of power 5 schools. I don’t think their schedule is weak. But top 4?

I agree with all of that. I disagree w Scott if he doesn’t want Rattler. I guess I’ve become more skeptical as I have hit my 50s. If Rattler comes here then fantastic, but I’m not going to get too excited because of those turnovers you mentioned until I actually see him play well for us.

It’s interesting that this conversation turned right away to QBs. I didn’t mention this yesterday but I also heard that QB would be one area where we would be looking to add.

That really isn’t the point. I would take Rattler for sure but just throwing out one name doesn’t invalidate concerns about why a guy got benched.

I think he brings up a legitimate question. Not only is Rattler no longer a Hesiman hopeful, he is no longer the future of that program. He has been benched for a reason. I think it’s reasonable to wonder why that is. I certainly would still take him but Scott’s point isn’t incorrect. He has absolutely struggled this year.

I've heard through the grapevine that IU will be very active in the portal...as in don't be surprised if it's in the upper teens in terms of number of new additions. Obviously, I don't know if that is accurate or not. Just what I've heard. I have no sources inside the program.

Washington is up 2-0 w ten to play. Looks like IU will be heading to Washington.

Going to be curious to see how we come out and play today after a big win. And Louisiana has a lot of size.

No. We had something like 9 starters back from last year.

Down 1-0 at halftime. IU certainly had a few chances.

IU is the 3 seed and we beat 6 seed Rutgers 1-0 today. We play 7 seed Northwestern who upset Maryland on penalties. The next game is on Wednesday. 4 seed Michigan beat 5 seed Wisconsin 2-1. The 1 seed Penn State is playing 8 seed Michigan State right at 4:00 today.

How about we turn away from Turdue.... If I said, I think many of you are sleeping on MSU and they'll be better due to addition by subtraction. You would say??
