Oh that’s not what I’m saying. What I’m saying is if he is the second best our conference has to offer, I don’t think the conference has many quality QBs. To me he is tough and reminds me of Peyton Ramsey. And that’s a compliment. But I don’t think he’s quite good enough to be in that next tier below a first round pick.

If Clifford is the second or even third best QB in the conference then I’d say the conference has a QB problem.

On the subject of QBs, one name I heard that we might be interested in is former Utah QB…last name of Brewer. He got beat out mid-season and hit the portal. I have no idea if there is any truth but for the sake of conversation, anyone have any thoughts on him?

Do you know anything about these two? Were they buried on the depth chart guys? Grad transfers? How much eligibility do they have left. They are certainly both large humans.

Not very many. I count 4 scholarship kids, all highly recruited. That doesn't count DJ Mathews. Nor does it count Omar Cooper from LN. There is some nice talent still there on paper, but will be very young. But, really, do any of those that left scare anyone?

Looks like he is a LB and started in 2020 and played a lot this year....but don't know if he started or not. But then didn't play after Halloween as he lost his job to a freshman. From Jacksonville, Fl.
