Agree with you on the absolutes, especially when coming from teenagers! Ha! Probably the only thing I should say is I know for sure some have been positive. That’s as close as I want to get to ferpa. No but Ben Davis is traditionally a power. In no way am I saying the HCC is the equivalent to the MIC. I just said it was a good night. I do think the gap has narrowed some. But I think that gap is still pretty significant. 6A title game last year was proof of that.

The HCC had a good night last night. Nobody played Carmel or Center Grove but the conference went 4-1 v the MIC.

He is a sophomore. I think he had two TDs longer than 70 yards. Noblesville runs a system where they will only throw the ball about 4 times a game. He should have another big game v TH South next week and then comes the gauntlet of HCC teams.

I saw the box score for LN. Cooper isn’t in it though LN beat Avon. He must not have played. I’m hearing lots of starters across the Indy area didn’t play due to Covid…either are sick or due to contact tracing.

Shockingly, I actually have some information on Buckley. I've been told he is a GREAT young man by someone who lives deep in the heart of.... I was also told that TAM is LOADED at WR. IU may be getting a young man who may be a back up at AM, but might start for a whole bunch of programs just because of AMs talent at WR. He was injured last year. This seems like a great fit to me. If he isn't good enough to play, then IU at least gets a great young man. If he is good enough to push Marshall and a couple of the other young WRs then we will be better off for the competition. I'm in.

Oh Westfield still is growing for sure. Didn’t mean to imply that they weren’t. Again, they’re still catching up to the other county schools because they have room right now. But their township is smaller than Carmel-Clay. My guess is they’ll eventually get to 3500 maybe 4000 students with graduation classes of 1000.

Not all but 2 of the five bigger ones absolutely are. I work in one. My wife works in another. Carmel has definitely hit a plateau. They’re done growing. Noblesville has as well. Maybe some slight growth there. HSE and Fishers have really slowed their growth. Westfield has the most growth ahead but they are still catching up with those others. But they also don’t have the land to grow like Carmel once did. They will never be as big as Carmel is.

That will not happen. Hamilton County schools are already or are starting to level off.
