I have no idea if what I heard is true. Honestly, I doubt it is. But if so, it wouldn’t be the first coach that has put a spin on something. And if everything you have said is correct, differences inside a coaching staff occur all the time. It doesn’t necessarily mean one side is right and the other side is wrong and messed something up.

My sources have not been exactly correct on this as things keep changing. I think it's fair to say that this has all been much more fluid than I was led to believe. Too scared isn't correct. I'm now being told there is a good chance this isn't over. We will see if that turns out to be accurate or not.

@btownqb do you have any thoughts about the DL hire? Sorry if I missed it elsewhere.

I didn't think he was coming out of high school. I saw Rex Grossman play a lot and I didn't think Johnson was nearly as good as Grossman. Just one comparison (and just one opinion) on two players as they came out of high school and left the state to go to two excellent programs. I feel bad for him. Maybe he can land at a MAC school or something and leave college on a real positive note.
