With all due respect, Dano, who cares what the other coaches want? Recruit stud athletes to IU! Make other BIG coaches pay for not doing so!

I don’t like it, but we’re seeing the same thing we’ve seen in college football. The teams with the best athletes, i.e. the SEC for the most part, are the teams that are winning the big games. IU and the B10 ( I really only care about IU), have to start getting some of those guys to really compete.

Haha, not trying to follow you @MoyeCowbell, but you have to have the athletes to play that way. I know we actually agree on this.

@MoyeCowbell, I agree but the really good teams these days have a lineup full of TW’s and VO’s. It’s really the reason the SEC is doing so well in March.

I grew up with the Hoosiers of the 80’s( was too young to remember the 76 team) and I love some good fundamentally sound basketball, and there’s still definitely a place for that, but that’s not what’s winning championships these days. Gotta have some super athletic dawgs these days! I really think other than TJD and JHS, we just didn’t have the dudes to get in done this year (much like last year, replace XJ with JHS

Serious question… can we get out the B10? Either that, or just start recruiting non B10 type of players and start playing non B10 style of basketball. It’s a losing brand for the last 20 years.

Haven’t posted in a really long time. I’ll start by saying that I like Woodson, and I think he’s taking us in the right direction. However, unless IU can start getting some truly long and athletic players, we will continue to struggle. The B10 will continue to struggle. TJD is the only player on IU that can match Miami’s athleticism and really Miami is not overly athletic. Of course, we could use some shooters too.
