Who are we missing now… Duke ? UK ?
Duke reached out the same time UCONN initially did. Not sure on if they’ll offer.
UK was actually the first big time program to reach out to him and that was some time ago when Calipari was still there.
I haven’t checked in recently so not sure who’s next.

I’ve known him since he was little. This is getting pretty crazy to watch unfold. Dude deserves it. Bucket getter.

The Huskies along with Duke is who I was referencing in that original post.
I was told recently IU would always be in front for Braylon. We’ll see if that changes. Michigan and now UConn specifically worry me the most here as of now. I have always been under the impression he would stay close to home, very likely in state, and we are the only in state program I think he’d actually land at.

Scheffler arrested trying to enter Valhalla, whose entrance was closed due to fatal accident. Players had apparently been told they could enter.
My guess is Valhalla is hosting it's last major.
What a crazy morning. On the range now and teeing off in less than 20 minutes. I'd say you're right in regards to Valhalla.

Staff hit a grand slam in the bottom of the ninth with 2 outs to walk it off this off-season. I get the NIL is great, but everyone here would have laughed if you told them we’d bring in what may end up the #1 portal class after Liam decommitted. Just a phenomenal job by Woodson and company. Most talent in the Big Ten. Now lets go win some ball games.

Not sure I've seen Rabjohns be so personable? (Not sure of the term to use here).. with an uncommitted recruit. 🤷♂️
He covered IUPUI while Braylon's dad played there so they've known each other for a long time.

So he’s way better than Cupps and bigger too? Like he could make a true impact as a freshman?
Just my opinion, but he will be a better college basketball player than Cupps.
Braylon is more than just a shooter. He straight up dunked on somebody in one of his recent games and went between the legs in warmups. He needs to add more weight before I would feel confident saying he makes true impact as a freshman.
I think he will be a very good player. Should be IU’s top in-state target other than Haralson, IMO.

Michigan offered.
First school to get involved that makes me nervous.

So those that have watched a lot of him live…is he a carbon copy Fletcher Loyer?
More athletic, he’s a better 3 level scorer.

Braylon is hearing from IU a lot. Purdue occasionally.

Out of curiosity: Who would you all rather have? Anderson or Goode? If it's one or the other.

With the addition of Carlyle, Indiana now has the 7th ranked recruiting class in the country, and top transfer class overall.

Boom!
Get a shooter off the bench and we’ve got a squad folks.

Obviously it’s early, but a good topic of discussion. We have a pretty good idea of our main core for next year. (I think it’s safe to assume Carlyle is in that group).
So… What are your expectations for next season? What would be disappointing?

Kanaan Carlyle scouting report on 247 in HS, which projected him as an eventual first rounder:
"Carlyle is a dynamic ball in hand player with terrific length for his size who can create scoring opportunities for himself on demand. He is simply wired to score from all three levels and never has seen a shot he does not like. His handle is as good and tight as anyone in the class and he can get by a defender with his speed and quickness. While he is primarily a scorer, he is terrific at making attacking plays off the dribble with his excellent handle and when the bucket opportunity does not present itself, he is more than willing to make the right find. What is better than his ability to score is his mindset. His mentality is elite as he is a tough and fierce competitor who is always in full attack mode. His constant aggression is what makes him positively productive. Defensively, he has the length and the foot speed to be elite and devastating on that side of the floor. A terrific two-way guard, Carlyle most certainly projects a reliable scorer who plays through most injuries and goes to war like each game is his last"

They don’t. Not saying this because it’s Purdue, but because I know it’s the lay of the land. It would absolutely shock me at this moment if Braylon ended up at Purdue.
I feel confident saying IU is the only in-state program he would land at, and as I said recently, it was very likely he would stay in-state. We will see if that changes with these big time programs jumping in. I can’t see him wanting to go far from home but we’ll see what happens.
