I find them likeable again now that Durant is out.
Much more enjoyable to watch. Passing, less iso ball, it's fun again.

Same goes for the small market. You have to have a smart, capable front office. There are definitely advantages to being in places like LA, but even LA is struggling to draw top free agents. The Knicks haven’t been able to get free agents for years. Chicago has struggled to get top free agents for years. Gordon Hayward is the first big free agent Boston has signed, maybe ever.
New Orleans issue isn’t being a small market, it’s horrible management. OKC is an example of a well run small market team. San Antonio has been well run. Indiana has been well run most of the time. Boston went 7 out of 8 seasons missing the playoffs post-Bird because they’re management was terrible. Wyc Grousbeck and Danny Ainge turned that around
No matter the market, you have to have smart people running the show.
Funny thing I remember on Ainge was when he was a player, he wanted to see the old guys off. Sometime before their last championship, he wanted some trades. You know the story better than I.
I agree though, Ainge always looks like he fleeced whoever he trades with. Brilliant manager for sure.

Is Charles Barkley not a treasure? I don't understand how anyone can not be a fan of his.

“Tests revealed a Deep Venous Thrombosis in the young Lakers forward's right arm.” - per CBS Sports on Brandon Ingrim.
Isn’t this the same problem that Jerome Hunter had?
Unconfirmed, but all of the dots were connected by HSN members pointing to DVT.

Okay. That is horrible. If it is a rule, it needs to be changed. Cousin's is absolutely right. That;s just laying there, waiting for someone to trip overt it and get injured.
Agree. I take the tech every time in that instance.

That would be nice. Anyone remember Kelcey Mucker from Lawrenceburg? Tremendous 3 sort athlete that was going to try all 3 at IU. Got drafted by the Twins and not sure after that. Outside of Damon the hardest person I ever TRIED to guard.
Just looked him up. 6 years with the Twins, 3 months with the Indians and the last 13 years as a scout for the A's. Not sure about the time between.
It would be awesome to see a really great two sport star shine at IU.

Bulls = Babies
I would have 15 new players next season if I owned the team.
"I'm paid millions and I have to do a thing!??". Or "hard work is for other people, people that earn wages instead of playing a game".
Yeah, sounds pretty pathetic to me.

For those that do not like advanced metrics and can see the fine details with their eyes instead:

A bunch of words.
Reminds me of Jack Taylor scoring 138 in that D III game a while back.
You're right, Klay's % is much better.

Less than a minute remaining.
Pacers are going to close this out to move to 4-2 and Cleveland drops to 0-6.
43-61 from 2. I really need to see a shot chart. -
Why wasn't PG highlighted, italicized, in bold print and a large font?

I don’t know why any NBA player of his caliber buy a house until after his playing days are done. Just rent or lease a condo downtown close to the arena/practice facility. Your on the road so much and then during the summer you can go anywhere. Unless your an established player that is older with family or not likely to be traded or making 8 figures you can wait til after your playing days to buy.
By all indications, he thought he was going to be there longer and desired it to be so. Unfortunately, it didn't work out that way.
If he bought it outright, he has equity minus various fees and taxes without paying interest. It's not a total loss.
Hopefully Sacramento works out.

I do it to tweak Hoopster. Its one of life's great joys. Frankly, I am thrilled that he played a part in bringing Vic home.
Work that tweak.
In some universe, the definition of twerk.

I think we can appreciate Victor just fine w/o so much PG hate. I may be in the minority, but some of these posts I feel read like: "I reject your facts and reality and substitute my fantasy and opinion".

Agree, definitely unusual for a team to cut a guy coming off a rookie season in which he made the G League first team. I’m sure it does have to do with the Lakers clearing cap for Lebron/PG/Kawhi.
But at the same time, whatever the reasoning behind it, this was why I thought Bryant would have been well served to come back. First round picks are much less likely to be cut (not to mention they make much more money). Out of all the players that left early under Crean, Bryant is really the only one that I think made a mistake. He could’ve played his way into the first round last season and been set up much better.
I thought much the same, with only one counterpoint. How does Juwan's development change with Bryant in the lineup? With that comes the next question, does DD get hurt with a deeper front court?
My opinion is that things have or will work themselves out to be favorable in the end making the questions needing no answer. It might be lazy of me, as speculation can be so much fun with this sort of topic.

I know a right answer.
Raptors, Pacers, or Celtics vs
Rockets.
Anunoby, Vic, or Coach Brad Stevens vs Eric Gordon.

I love Larry, but how many HoFers were on his teams?
No doubt he had talent around him. He did make those HoFers much better. I am going to defer to Magic when he says " The one guy I feared was Larry Bird. I lost sleep at night.."

I was wondering when Bird would join the conversation. You know he belongs on the list when MJ and Magic both have him in their top 5.

Can't say this enough. Love seeing all of the national "experts" (and frankly, quite a few knowledgeable posters in this forum) have a lot of egg on their face for calling this a great trade for OKC. I can't think of a more lopsided trade from last season, frankly. If you all have one, I'd love to hear what it was.
Initially, I thought the Pacers got hosed. However, I was happy to see Vic come home. I was never vocal about my opinion on the matter.

Adding to that, there was an article out there that any combination of the GS lineup without Steph was worse than ANY lineup with him. Impressive stuff. They even had how important he was to the team detailing the 'hockey assist'. Incredible team player.
