Believe it when I see it. Easy to say until you have the money sitting there in front of you.
It is the same with Morton and Gillis where both can come back but aren't coming back.

Until he he sees he won’t get drafted and how much money he will pass up. It’s a business decision to leave…and will be a business decision to stay. Nothing will change draft wise by staying another year. He will just miss out on a pay day if he goes.
He is gone and both Edey and Painter has said so

Maybe I’m wrong but Grover was one of the highest rated run stopper. I agree Ballard has hit on all the positions that aren’t what I would call game changers..but he isn’t on the hot seat. As long as Richardson isn’t a flat out bust he will get a few more years. Irsay sees him as family. I’d say he has more support in the organization than Woody has on the BOT.
How many GM' would get 8 years while making the playoffs twice and has 1 playoff win. Us IU fans wants to fire Woodson after 3 years and no losing seasons while winning 2 tournament games.

Irsay doesn’t like to change coaches or GMs. He values continuity. Ballard is no where close to the hot seat…so he has plenty of time.
Good or bad it’s just how it is. Plus Indy doesnt have the money for the guaranteed contracts. It’s about the money that has to be put into escrow. They’ve spent a bunch on their own with those big contracts.
If we don't make the playoffs this year Ballard has to be fired. I understand about keeping your own if the team was a championship caliber team but I don't understand bring back marginal players. Pittman was the only one I thought that was imperative to bring back. Why bring back Grover then sign another DT and then bring back Bryan another DT. I just think he puts his premium money in the wrong positions.

That’s good stat. Way better than us.
RMK never made more than 4 straight sweet 16's

Reds heads, where do you like to sit in Great American? Planning a trip for September.
I like to sit in the sun deck in RF

Their bigs will be in foul trouble immediately and then there will be none of those pick and pop 3s. Its a bad matchup for Gonzaga.
Gonzaga starts 3 big guys and their problem is who will guard Jones.

I have never been a huge Few guy. Fine coach. Racks up wins in a safe environment but doesn’t show much when the going gets tough. The guy who I like is Tommy Lloyd his ex assistant. He got a $6 M deal at Arizona which has been far better than us for 20 years but the passion and exposure is bigger here but for our ineptitude and dysfunction. But man I’d make a run at him with $10M and not bleep around to say IU is serious. He’d be a great match here. He’s got an urgency and passion that we have lacked but he also has the roster construction and strategic skills.
Didn't they say Gonzaga has made the sweet 16 9 straight years. To me that means Few has shown a lot when it gets tough.

I think Ballard is playing the long game…looking 2-3 years out.
LOL! He is going into his 8th season so how long does he need. It seems like the only thing he cares about is his cap space but he never uses it.
If he hit more with his early draft picks maybe we wouldn't be in this situation. In 7 years he hasn't won the worst division in football and only made the playoffs twice

Ballard builds through the draft. It just is who he is. He trusts his ability (correct or not) to identify talent in the draft. I’d be shocked if we don’t take a corner with our first pick. There should be a couple elite ones sitting there. He will get a safety in the draft as well later on and then supplement in free agency after the $$ drops. There are a ton of veteran safeties available and even some interesting corners that could move over to the roll.
Maybe it is time to change his philosophy since his hasn't worked. As for CB we already have enough young ones and we need a veteran on there

$55 Million guaranteed? No way...he can ride out his career in the AFC South basement.
At least the games there 3 AFC South teams are trying to improve their teams. Ballard brings back mainly mediocre players from a mediocre team. Our only two outside free agents are a backup QB and a backup DT. We have 40 mil tied up to 3 DT's. We have one of them highest paid guard, Kicker, RB and punters but still no CB's or safeties. Pittman is pretty much the only really good player we have resigned

Looks like the Colts lose out on getting Snead from KC. He looks like he is going to Tennessee for a 3rd and flipping 7th round picks. Once again Ballard sits on his hands and doesn't take a chance of upgrading their team.

JMU's defense is impressive

I wish that Texas A&M was the 9 seed in Purdue's region. I think they would have a good chance at beating them but have no confidence that Utah St or TCU can.

Because he has a 30 plus year track record of success…even recent success. Knight lost in first rd..Coach K has. It isn’t a habit…he has two freshman and a sophomore guard and that happens with young kids…the difference with Woodson is that he has none to little track record as a coach…and it’s mostly mediocre to poor nba and college. He is also a lazy recruiter who doesn’t care enough of his players to call them up once a week even to see how they are doing and keep them engaged…Pearl has an endless motor and is recruiting better now then he ever has. He also doesn’t think basketball is best played through the post.
If all that isn’t enough Pearl doesn’t talk in the third person. Case closed.

I am not defending him at all and I was being sarcastic about Pearl losing in the first round. I would take Pearl over Woodson anytime

Boycotting and supporting a change isn’t leaving your team…in fact if you look at it closely it’s the most selfless love you can do to support them. Taking away voluntarily the thing you love most to sacrifice for the greater good of that very thing you love is the greatest fandom you could show!
I haven't been to a game at AH since Archie's first or second year so it isn't like I have given them a lot of money. Watching IU basketball is iny blood and have done it all of my life and will until I die. There are just 31 games a year and I just really don't want to miss those games. For me the off season in college basketball is so long and can't wait until the season starts.

you think that means there's something they know and don't like? otherwise i am bummed that we aren't on that list.
Maybe he is tired of how the big ten plays and wants to get out of the conference

It's rather simple, Boycott the games and don't buy BB merchandise...especially if the students followed up. But too many are soft minded...no balls.
Nope I will back my team no matter who the coach and players are. I might get upset on how they play but will never leave my team.
