So with that thinking no coach should ever get credit for kids development. They just get criticized if they don't develop

I see development this year from Ware and MM. I see growth from Reneau from last year. The problem is not recruiting or developing guards and wings.

Where did I say he was a good coach and I want him gone. It just seems like people think if you give him credit that you are backing him as the coach.

Most want Woodson gone but why can't people give him credit when it is warranted. I have criticized his coaching a lot because it is warranted but I can give him some credit as well.

I wouldn't say he hasn't developed any players. I would say how he has worked with Ware has been good. Also TJD got more rounded once Woodson got here.

I will be watching like usual hoping for a win. Last game was the first game in the last couple of weeks I could actually enjoy the game. Knowing he was coming back I was just rooting for a win instead hoping for a coaching change.

I guess having a job where you are driving all day allows me to listen to local sports radio Probably listens to it to much. Jake Queery called out the Hoosier Hysteric guys and does it a lot. He got on them for calling out fans for being to toxic and causing the Liam decomitment. He said fans like the hysterics are more of a problem because they are over bearing. He questioned why does 50 year old guys fawn over 17 year old recruits and seem.to he creepy. Queery doesn't think our fans are toxic but think we can be over bearing. I guess when Queery was at IU he was neighbors with Pat Knight and a lot of other players lived in the same complex. I guess after a Saturday game a bunch of the players and other people was watching TV and eating pizza. They noticed two strange guys that no one knew and I guess they were 40 years old and we're jealous st IU fans. They don't know how they got into the party but heard the two guys bragging about partying with basketball team. After those two guys left the players were stunned how creepy that was and pretty much made fun of those two. I think our fans think they are part of the program and try to help it out but some over steps the boundaries.

No problem, I was just thinking off the top of my head. Mainly was saying that the top teams weren't built around the portal or all one and done players.

What? How was I looking for a fight

I know we as fans we are to close to the situation. Outside of this fan base our reputation is not very good. I guarantee you that other coaches us this against us. If we were winning it wouldn't matter but when we are mediocre it will influence kids decisions.

Illinois wasn't one of teams I mentioned

Don Fischer was on the JMV show and was talking about all of this. He said he knows for a fact the fans does have influence on kids current or recruits with how they act on social media. If our fans boo at senior night that will not only strengthen the reputation of our fan base. If you are unhappy just don't go to the game

To me in the pros you build through the draft and fill your needs in free agency. To me it is the same here because you build your roster with recruiting high school kids and fill your needs in the portal. I am just going off the top of my head but looking at PU, Houston, UCONN and Tennessee who all could be 1 seeds. How many 5 star players are on these rosters. I know Castle at UCONN is but I don't know if there are any others. Also how many portal guys did they bring in this year.

These players are entitled and soft. I would love for IU to start recruiting tough minded players who are just about winning.

I know you have to keep in contact but to me it sad that you still have to coddle recruits after they sign with your school.

I am surprised that about the only person I'm the media who is backing Woodson is DD. He was ripping the media for trying ask questions about Liam because no coach will tell reporters what actually happened. He was making fun of Liam and the pictures of him in his candy stripes and the call me signal. He wants IU to get away from soft players and bring actual tough guys in and be men I stead of little kids.

I dislike his coaching but why should a coach talk to blogger boys about recruiting

If he is planning on retiring why would they announce he will be back next year. I just think people are grasping at straws now

I wonder what Liam saw that made him commit to IU in the first place. He saw how we played the last two years yet he commits to IU anyways. What is bad is that our offense the last few games has looked better. It seems like we are not throwing into the post as much as we did earlier. It seems like the ball is moving better and you can see that with 28 assists last night. The question is why did it take so long to change the offense
