A top 5 qb is worth it IMO at his age. Can lead to a decade of dominance and division titles instead of mediocre teams with colt mccoy, Kyle Allen, Alex smith, and every other scrub Washington has had since joe theisman...even our super bowl years Doug Williams and mark rypien were not studs. Throwing to that wr corps with that oline and defense...good lord. derek carr on the other hand? No. I’d rather wait until they cut him when Gruden wakes up with a burr up his ass or trade a later round pick for mariota. I would do 1st and a later pick seeing as skins have the 19th pick. I follow all nfl but I’m looking at it from the team I root fors perspective. Just my opinion..

As a Washington fan, with our defense being pretty solid I would trade the 19th pick this year and a second next year for stafford. Bring in Golladay or Jones who are FA from Detroit at WR and draft for need with remaining picks. You have a decent team then. Pipe dream for me tho lol. Our new Gm Mayhew drafted stafford in 2007 with Detroit so ya never know.

Imagine a team like the nuggets or jazz or a top 5 east team needing a rental who have cap space. 2nd round pick for 2 months and potential to win a championship with a good scorer I think would be it.

Rockets may be able to turn Gordon or Oladipo to a contender for more pics. They are neither in long term plans now. Rental for a good team could return assets. Sucks for Vic but he wasn’t coming back to Indiana anyway.

Absolutely imo. Arkansas hasn’t played anyone, Mizzou showed what they were last night, Kentucky will turn it around and win some. I think bama, LSU, Georgia, Florida have some talent, but pales in comparison to the Vols. I feel they should win the sec by 2-3 games this year. And Barnes recruiting keeps getting better too. Heck of a job he’s done there.

Their freshman are tough coming off the bench. And Barnes has them playing as a team. Very athletic 1-5. I genuinely enjoy watching them play defense. Pons is a stat stuffer.

Absolutely. He’s a heck of an in game coach. Best I’ve seen at iu. Mind you I only remember I couple years of Knight at the end. But imo Sampson was better in game and had his kids prepared better than Davis, Archie , and crean, with sometimes lesser players.
