I really want Armaan back. 2nd best player last year, great kid, great student. He’s growing as a player. I really hope he sticks around. I would be sick seeing him an in Illinois uniform. And his mom is awesome too. Pure class from the whole family.

I can’t jump on that bandwagon either. But give me a disciplined team, moving in the right direction, that has high expectations and accountability. I’m not expecting personally a top 5 finish in the big. But we get a few pieces coming in and we could be. I feel a lot better about things now than 3 weeks ago. im Not expecting knight 2.0. But I am expecting toughness and discipline and an offense that isn’t robotic and without flow. Hell can we get a damn transition bucket this year.

Did you miss Geronimo guarding Garza ? He’s 6’6 with shoes on. he was serviceable to play 8-10 mins a game for defense. Something we didn’t have this year.

I don’t think he would tell Race, hey we don’t want you. How many times were we in foul trouble and had a 6’5 dude in the post. Race back would be great. Have 4 dudes over 6’8 that can legit play hasn’t happened since Newton, odle, Jeffries, leach...

Id be happy with fife, but would rather have Lewis...

Yeah can’t wait to see what a bang up bunch of players our well seasoned college coach with a bunch of relationships to high school kids and other programs he has worked at can bring in to replace them...not very optimistic..

I honestly cannot find any excitement in this besides knowing the search is over...what a let down... guess we will see how the players feel if any comeback. Bring back lander and Franklin and Stewart and race and tjd I’ll give it a try. Other than that I ain’t gonna be paying much attention untiL the season starts. Zero excitement...

Think there will be any Hoosier flavor on the staff in assistant form? Lewis? Guyton? Cheaney? If it’s stevens anyway.
