I think we need to hit 20 by end of regular season. That assures a 11-9 big ten record. No way we’re not in with that. That means we have a couple more top 20 wins or some road ones. We play how we’re capable and I think we end up with a 7 or 8. But honestly the difference between a 7 and 10 is nothin in the tournament. You avoid auburn your second game and get Kentucky or ucla or something. I want to avoid the play in.

As others have said Kofi is a one man wrecking crew. It’s hard to stop him. But limit him to 20 and don’t let him get 35. The key to winning is not turning the ball over and pressuring their shooters. We can’t give them open looks from the perimeter. It’s really pointless to say because making shots is the name of the game, but limiting wide open shots will be key. After Purdue and Osu, Illinois is in that next tier with Wisconsin in teams I hate. Really hope we play our game and take care of business.

Looking at some of the schedules and upcoming games for teams. I think Our realistic ceiling is 13-7, basement at 10-10. That gives us losses at Purdue msu and the suckeyes and hold serve at home and win at northwestern and Minnesota. Would be very happy with that. Iowa sitting at 4-5 in the big has 9 of 11 games left against unranked teams. osu, Illinois, Wisconsin all have 3 against ranked teams plus us . We have 5 ranked games. msu and Purdue 4 plus us. Still a lot left to be shaken out for sure and lots of opportunity out there. I would also add Rutgers has 6 ranked games plus us. At 12-8 overall they are gonna need to pull off some upsets I think to make tourney. At this point for end of year I would say big ten gets Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Purdue, Msu, Osu, and Wisconsin safely in. Rutgers may have a shot and if Michigan goes on a run, but based on schedules I don’t see that happening. Michigan has Purdue 2x, osu 2x , and Wisconsin and Illini as well. Not that anyone cares but kind of my mid season break down. Was looking at things this morning for how Indiana schedule compares to the others around us in the standings.

Yeah that game last night was a clinic in missing shots. Hard to watch until the last 4 minutes.

Race hitting threes opens up the floor for Trayce. And you can see Races confidence is sky high. He’s turning into an all big ten level player.

Hell yeah. Total control of that game. We looked so much more composed and comfortable than they did. Trayce and race had a great game. X played great. Galloway and JG off the bench with some great minutes. Kl looked very unsure but better when he settled in a bit.

Not terrible second half. Terrible last 4 minutes. Penn state was bound to start hitting a few. But they are just getting wide open looks now. Team is tired.
