I mean I expect officiating to be bad sometimes. But can they at least be bad evenly. That’s all I ask. Call bullshit stuff for both teams. Not just one.

Saw earlier they said big 12 was toughest league in basketball. Maybe that’s why. But they got handled. And no reason they should be. I’m seeing alot of people having us out still but Xavier ahead of us makes it a head scratcher to me. Our Q1 and q2 record is 7-11. Only q3 loss is home to Rutgers…who is ahead of us in rankings…that’s 18 games against quad 1-2 teams. The big 12 teams have played like 7 each. Gonzaga has played 6. The big ten is hard. If we lose to Illinois and don’t make it in I wouldn’t be surprised tho. We had plenty of chances to make it. 1 or 2 of those games we had slip away and we would be in. Gonna have to keep winning.

North Carolina beating Virginia tonight would help.

Just so tired of watching the same shitty basketball. Over and over. Redo 80 percent of the roster. I’d rather see players trying with little expectation than to have this team loaf around all day. I would say unbelievable. But to this point it was the expectation to me. Just a feather on the cap of this disappointment of a season. We don’t deserve the tourney at all and we’re playing like it.

Good, I’m sure we blew it in the second half.

I’m gonna try rooting for them tomorrow and see what happens. Maybe it’s me and not our woeful shooting? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Here’s my take. I’m disenfranchised with all things Indiana basketball because I’m just so sick of being so close, so often, and every time the same thing happens. We are good enough to beat anyone. Anyone in college basketball. We play like it 90 percent of our games for short spurts. Good team are consistent, we are not that( well in a bad way). I hate the matchup with Michigan. I give us a less than 5 percent chance to win this game. Call me negative or whatever, but it just is what it is. We are a great team sometimes and are 2 consistent shooters away from being 14-6 in the big ten. Our biggest weakness is our inability to shoot. Great defense most of the time, cut down on turnovers big time, x is playing great, race and tjd are what you need on a great college team. But after that we have no consistency and nobody that shows up we can count on every game. It’s sad the season has come to this when we all see how good we “could” be. I wasn’t expecting top 5 finish at the beginning of the year in the big ten. But after seeing how good we could be, call me completely and utterly dejected with how this season has turned out. My expectation is we keep it close and fall apart like normal in the last 10 minutes, make the NIT and hopefully Woodson lets some of the younger guys play to get some minutes. No point in kopp or Stewart getting meaningful minutes in the NIT. Hopefully this entire post bites me in the ass and we maybe win a game against a team with a winning record( which we are 0-6 in our last 6 of those games), and then we beat Illinois too because F*** them. Sadly I don’t think that will happen and I’m looking forward to March madness being over for the 6 straight year because I’m a salty ass IU fan.

I haven’t really commented any of the last few games because I have nothing good to say. But really…really…this team just continues to find new ways to lose…and by new ways I mean the same shit every game…unreal how bad we are in crunch time every game… it’s on the coaches at this point to let it happen every game..every single f****** game… I’m at a loss watching this team. Even if we happen to magically win, won’t change any of my thoughts. What another wasted year of Indiana basketball…I’m gonna go back off the ledge now..

Illinois was pretty impressive last night. Big game for us.

Purdue-it’s Purdue osu isn’t really a rival but I hate them the most because I live in Ohio and buckeye fans are the worst. I have extra hate for Illinois and Wisconsin but aren’t rivals. Just big ten opponents. Msu to me because I feel like they are the other “ basketball school” in the conference with a good history. Everybody else are just conference opponents I feel no way towards. I guess I would only consider Purdue our only “rival”. I think so. Iowa below us more in standings. Loss at Penn state looks better.

We do this we are a top 15 team in polls.

We beat Illinois next we are ranked I believe. But if we started the season 15 and had the exact same season, we would be like 18 right now. Btown and 94 are both right for sure.
