Well, we all know what Coach Knight would say if a player or a student called him "Bobby". And before anyone gets concerned, I loved Coach Knight.  Different era.

The only time I bumped into RMK at Assembly Hall, I called him 'Coach'. Can confirm he did not strangle me. :)

    19/40 from #1 didn't help

It wasn't his best game, for sure. The entire offense was garbage though. Mooney after the game said the offense got complacent in the 2nd half because they were just happy to have a lead, no sense of urgency at all. The blocking was awful (Myles Garrett and company of course have something to do with that), the general execution of many plays was poor, the play-calling itself was head-scratching.

I know it would be impossible to handle correctly but I've always thought the correct suspension would be however long the guy you injured is out. Of course the gray area of let's say a stud Defensive players knocks out a 4th option WR....the team could the 4th WR is out for the year.

Rest of the season though seems excessive unless he has a history.

It was his 6th unnecessary roughness flag of the season, the suspension is for being a repeat offender not just this one hit.

I am not a Bears fan, but fwiw Fields showed a lot of improvement once they got him some weapons. Specifically Moore, but with Kmet growing as well. If they draft wisely, and surround him with more talent, I would take Fields with 3 years experience under his belt before starting over with any of the quarterbacks slotted to be drafted in the 1st round this year. Do you, as Bears' fans, really want to go through the growing pains of another do over at quarterback?

Get Fields either MHJr, or the next best receiver, and some O-line help and let him develop further.

That is my preference as well. I think Fields is good enough to win with, build around him. Definitely not sold on Caleb Williams.

Trubisky is still the same as he ever was. Glad the colts are beating up Steelers.. not a fan of them, I’ve known way to many annoying steeler fans over the years.

I was at the game and damn there were tons of Squealer fans there. The most opposing fans I've seen at a game all season. They stopped waving those toilet towels so much in the 2nd half at least

I stopped reading half way through the pages here, but a request: if you're an optimist, please don't crap on the people who are pessimists.  And vice versa.  It does nothing to add to the discussion.

Oh great, a fence sitter. 🙄

  7. End of the day, we need X on the floor to be the best team we can be and hit our full potential, especially as we run up against the best of the best in the B1G and in March. No doubt in my mind. But I do see benefit in the team doing what it has done the past couple of games, playing well without him. Builds confidence, I think.

If FSU wins, I don't see how it's not Michigan, Washington, FSU, Texas. Ohio has an argument, but a non-conference champion isn't going to win those arguments.

Personally, I would be fine with that, but I'll eat my shoe if the committee doesn't put a SEC team in.
