From what I saw/heard on CBS Sports HQ this morning , Willson's impending trade is being held up by an impending Soto trade. So I will just sit back and wait for the impending outcome.
Yeah, I had thought about him already missing an entire season. Personally, I am fine with the ruling. It will be interesting to see how Watson "behaves" from this point forward.
My point is that the Reds tore apart a competitive team to rebuild? Why didn't they trade for Baez or Bryant last year? They could have made a splash if they wanted to make the team better for a play off push. Tear down? I think they should have added to it.
The Reds were 83-79 last year. Had they not gutted the team, Cincy would be in the play-off race and/or contending for a division title this year. That is what I see from end. Who in the hell guts a .500 team these days? The Reds.
