  1. When I first really started watching MLB it seemed the Pale Hose had different uniforms every year. Style and color scheme. LOL. Your link showed me I was dang near right!
  2. Seems as though Herm quickly got the ship heading in the right direction only to run aground. Fitz is a living legend.
  3. Nah, I envision Bigfoot using a 50 ft. cane pole....

  7. Which is why I feel that the SEC "covets" Clemson, Florida St., Miami, and possibly Va Tech.
  8. Have you given any thought to the possibility that the SEC is more interested in the brand rather than the market?
  9. The Royals should have traded him a few years back.
  10. I liked that last paragraph and it shows how fast time goes by. Where did all those good feels from 2017 go? Collins has gone from the darling of college basketball, leading Northwestern to their first ever NCAA Tournament appearance, to a clear hot seat. They’ve finished below .500 all five seasons since the tourney trip, and Northwestern has finished above .500 in Big Ten play just once under Collins. Let’s face it, Collins is coaching for his job this year, and his performance on the recruiting trail suggests the outside world has already given up on him. The roster is starting to resemble a pre-Collins talent level with no help in sight.
  11. I was pooping mustard in 1969...
  12. Definitely seemed like the A.L. East was on a lot.
  13. My point was that I watched baseball on TV other than NBC's "Game of the Week." What was special about NBC's game was that I got to watch the American League.
  14. SEC hopes to stay at 16 teams The realignment carousel could be coming to an end soon as sources tell Saturday Down South's Matt Hayes that the "preference" from SEC presidents is for the conference stay at 16 teams instead of entertaining expansion moves. Hayes reports that presidents would lean towards staying at 16 teams even if Notre Dame were to join the Big Ten. "The need just isn't there," an SEC athletic director told Hayes. If the SEC plans to stand pat, it could close the door on programs like Oregon, Clemson and Florida State getting into the high-money conferences -- and could be a lifeline for conferences like the Pac-12 and ACC to prevent major attrition. 15. Yeah? So they could add ACC schools as well.
  16. What is the Big 12’s money deal at the moment?
  17. If 8 teams want to jump ship then the GOR could be voted out?
