We shall see. And I agree, it it good to see Arky back up and running. The more I watch the CFP, the more I wish it would go back to the old way. Now 1977 was one helluva New Year's Day for college football.
It always seemed strange to me growing up not knowing any White Sox fans. Heck, channel 55 out of Fort Wayne even carried them for a few years when LaRussa was there. Seems like everyone was a Reds, Cubs, or Tigers fan in my part of the world.
Been kind of a whacky start in all of college football when you look at the "contenders" so to speak. How good is Penn St.? I dunno. But their marquee wins appears to have come over overrated opponents. Wisconsin and Auburn aren't lighting up the CFB landscape. The Lions also took care of Ball St., who was supposed to be good but appear to be suffering mightily. Maybe, just maybe we hang with the Joe Pa's?
