  1. John Wall hates you chants towards Kelly Ubre Jr(was traded from wizards to suns a few weeks ago) every time he was shooting free throws 😂😂😂 426608E1-7E81-4DCF-BF3B-5A99FBE6DDA1.MOV
  2. completely agree, they need to take care of every game now, especially winning 90% of the games against non playoff teams and AT LEAST splitting 50/50 with current playoff teams. I am predicting during that brutal 11 game stretch, the Cers go 5-6 with wins at Bucks, at 76ers, home against Knicks, at Clippers, and home against Celtics.
  3. I will be too. I just think Giannis will carry them until his wheels fall off. Maybe we get lucky and that happens towards the end of the season. However the end of March worries me for the Pacers. Beginning March 7th and ending March 29th. We play the following 8 games(easily the toughest stretch of the Pacers season): Bucks(A) 76ers(A) Knicks(H) Thunder(H) Nuggets(A) Trailblazers(A) Clippers(A) Warriors(A) Nuggets(H) Thunder(A) Celtics(H) This will be a tough 11 game stretch. This stretch could define if we get the #2, #3 or #4 seed with the playoffs shortly after this tough stretch. Only non playoff team here is the Knicks.
  4. With the way things are looking mid way into the season, as long as the Pacers can maintain no big health concerns moving forward, I think they end up as the 3rd or 4th seed in the playoffs. The Celtics I think are candidate to finish in the fourth or fifth spot, especially the fifth spot if they continue to have the issues that they are having currently. The 76ers are still a toss up for me and they could flip with Boston for the 5th seed. I think the Raptors and Bucks still finish as the #1 and #2 seed and the end of the regular season. I think we have a strong blueprint to beat the Bucks, however the Raptors I am not sure as we have yet to see them fully healthy this season when we have faced them. I think if we finish in the top 3, we will win our first round series for sure regardless who we play, if we finish 4th and have to play Philly or Boston in the first series then I think it'll take all 7 games. I think the Pacers need to go 4-1 during this upcoming 5 game home stretch.
  5. Vic is a good defender, however having at 7 foot shoot blocker presence in the lane is very key since lots of guys can get into the lane in the NBA. Ball movement was awesome when Vic was out, ball movement was still good until Myles went out with his injury.
  6. Agree 100%. When a shot blocker is in the lane/paint, its always on the opposing teams mind when they are near the rim
  7. So Myles Turner is very important to the Pacers, especially on the defensive end. His presence is surely missed. Sabonis fills in quite well, however Myles is on another level on the defensive side of the ball compared to Sabonis. Don't get me wrong, I love Sabonis but that just isn't his game. I would love if Sabonis improved defensively during this upcoming offseason.
  8. Agree, I think it should be 25% fans, and split it down the middle for media and coaches for the remaining 75%. I am fine with Wade making it, however I agree that very good players get hosed especially smaller market teams. Rose shouldn't be above Harden. I wish they would go back to 2 guards, 2 forwards and 1 center.
  9. the fan vote for both the NBA and NFL will forever be silly. Vince Carter for goodness sakes was in the top 7 I believe for Frontcourt, that's ridiculous! Regardless if it is his last season or not.
  10. I heard that too and thought that was interesting. Reminds me of Scott May going to IU however his son chose UNC. I cannot remember for the life of me why Sean chose UNC
  11. Agree, the missed call last night was horrible, even the Raptors bench reactions told the story. They shouldn't of been in that situation to begin with, however the refs truly cost the team a chance at overtime. IMO Vic really hurt us in the last minute of that game. I have about 1% left of hope for Tyreke. PLAY AARON HOLIDAY INSTEAD!!!!!!!!! Myles was a blocking machine last night, so that was a plus!
  12. https://www.theringer.com/nba/2018/12/19/18147846/domantas-sabonis-indiana-pacers
  13. I didn't really notice Vic forcing a lot of shots. There were a few that were forced, however only Myles and Sabonis shot over 50% for the game. Vic did have 5 assists, only two points going into half I believe. I would have liked to see Vic and Myles run the PnR a little more in the second half.
  14. Pacers lost due to a lack of effort and energy. Yes last play should have been an offensive foul, however they should have never been in that situation. Pacers might need to start alerting the panic button for Tyreke. I would rather take the chances and give Holiday some of Evans minutes. Until Evans starts hitting better than 28% of his shots and playing like he like basketball, I'll pass. I am a fan of Tyreke but he has fallen off the face of the earth.
  15. Jersey patch will be on display beginning with tonight's game vs the Cavs https://www.nba.com/pacers/pacers-motorola-announce-multi-year-partnership
  16. 7 straight W's for the Pacers, with the two biggest wins over Bucks and 76ers and a hard young fighting Kings teams. This team is playing well and sharing. Take care of the next 7 opponents(Raptors and Pistons are the only two with winning records I believe). I can see winning 6 of their next 7, with the team being 26-11 going into 2019!
  17. Pacers defense efficiency last three years when guarding Giannis(aka Thaddeus Young): Thad Young - 91.8 points per 100 possessions for the Bucks when Thad is guarding Giannis Antetokounmpo in last three years All others - 114.4 points per 100 possessions for the Bucks when others guard Giannis Antetokounmpo in last three years Thad Young can play helluva defense.
  18. Ponytail Myles is the best! Pacers after 28 games LAST year: 16-12 108.8 offensive rating(6th) 107.8 defensive rating(20th) +1.0 Net(11th) Pacers after 28 games THIS year: 18-10 107.5 offensive rating919th) 102.4 defensive rating(3rd) +5.1 Net(7th)
  19. I like PG still(hate me all you want) however I am sure he would rather sit a game out due to some kind of soreness than play PF.
  20. PG did us wrong towards the end of his tenure with my beloved Pacers, however he is/was still a hell of a player for the Pacers. He IS still one of my favorite players. I love Vic, he's my favorite Hoosier and one of my favorite Pacers players. I do not like to compare the two. I am probably one of the few PG fans left in Indy. I am glad he is succeeding. If Roy doesn't fizzle out so early( and plays at a high level for quite some time, I don't see West leaving like he did) and PG doesn't break his leg, I think this is a different outcome and we may never be having the arguments of "Should Sabonis be starting over Myles" or "Is Vic better than PG" because I think PG would still be hear and this team would look vastly different. Yes PG according to stats hasn't been clutch, but he is still a hell of a ball player. Vic is a better representative for the Pacers but PG can still ball.
  21. You nailed it, they are heating the system of 3 point shooting and the fouls. Assuming Gasol, Conley and Jackson all stay healthy, they could for sure be a playoff team out west.
  22. The Grizz are my surprise team out west. Conley is playing like an all star PG that he is, Gasol is always going to be good and Jaren Jackson has played better than I anticipated.
  23. Last night was the first time both Myles and Sabonis both double-doubled since Sabonis arrived in Indy. Guys played good, Doug has really turned it on the past two games. They are really looking for him whenever possible and he's looked good coming off of screens and determining whether to take the jump shot or drop the ball off to the screener. Hopefully he can keep it going. So far so good to be 2-0 to open this 4 game western road trip.
  24. Still early but here are Aaron Holiday per 36 minutes stats 9 games into the season: 44% FG, 30% 3pt, 79% FT, 7.8 Rebounds, 3.7 Assists, 0.7 Steals, 21.5 Points
  25. There is a reference in regards to a 2 on 1 rebounding from Thad. This could be why Myles rebounding is low due to always trying to have a body on the biggest defender, relying on a teammate to close in the ball? Just a thought. I am not sure if they just started emphasizing this for this year or last year as well. https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/nba/pacers/2018/11/19/victor-oladipo-less-indiana-pacers-steamroll-utah-jazz-121-94/2053707002/
