We (Frankton) lost 46-42 to Blackford. Held Luke Brown to a career low 10 points. Too unselfish even though we played a triangle and 2 on him with 1 guy shadowing.

I pay attention to other offers more so than rankings. You get past 25-30, it’s a crapshoot, and comes down to player development. other big names wanted him, and he committed without taking an official visit. That says something. as others have mentioned, we’ll be celebrating again in the next 2-6 weeks!

Just out of curiosity, how many underclassmen has CAM offered in his 3 years? Meaning freshmen or sophomores...don´t think it´s many...this kid must be solid and potential through the roof!

Smith is a sophomore, while Brown is a senior aged junior. Smith plays a 4A schedule, and started as a freshman last year. Both kids are unreal shooters and gifted passers. The difference for me is the defensive end...smith is very polished with more room to grow. Very quick laterally. Long arms for a 5’10 kid. That’s why CAM is interested, a scoring point guard who can guard people at a higher level. He’s likely to be 6’2-6’3 when he’s college aged. Smith for me if I’m picking one. Coach SS how did his visit go today? Was coach Sumpter (his HS coach) with him?

I’ve commented on him a couple times, played against him twice. He’s good. Really good.

I totally get where you’re coming from, but the priority kids have had offers for nearly 3 months now. Can’t wait on em forever and not actively recruit others.
