Coach Robby replied to Vincent14's topic in Basketball Recruiting
Triple double tonight. Day 1 starter next year. Hope he sticks around, he’s pretty damn good 👍🏻 -
Have have have to win this game
-
Gotta believe we will actually defend in the 2nd half. They won’t

Davisson and Bohannon bout to move in together and run some mens rec leagues

He’s from my county. Was unreal as a junior high player. “Transferred” to Fishers this summer. Will be a 6’7 or 6’8 guard. NBA potential, obviously.

2022 PF Kaleb Banks Commits to Indiana!

I personally think this kid will be the next surprise IU pro. Numbers! -
This kid has so much potential. Like wow! But he has 0 interest in the 2 games I’ve seen live. There’s a reason he and other starters didn’t play in 4th quarter of the hall of fame classic…
-
I’m much more excited for banks myself. Think he’s the next sleeper player, capable of being solid right away
-
Watched him this morning in hall of fame classic. Meh, a sample size of course but little to no motor when not directly involved. Didn’t run the floor well either. Just my opinion obviously

C.J. Gunn - 2022 committed to IU

Sorry for the multi in a row posts but I like the sound of Gunn and Banks coming in together. Man, that could be a duo in 2-3 years -

Yep. That would be correct. Lots of extra curriculars on and off the floor apparently -

For LN to be successful this season, CJ is gonna have to carry the load big time. Won’t be shocked if he averages 25-28 ppg this season. -

Weird game last night. Lot of stories and rumblings about one of the officials being a dad of a player who was cut at LN. LN coach ejected, etc. great to see CJ have himself a night -
'23-'24 College Hoops Across the Nation(NOT IU!)
Coach Robby replied to rico's topic in General Basketball Discussion
True...I just think there's going to be so many teams on 2 week breaks for quarantine. Believe me, I do NOT want any type of shutdown. But the number of cases is rising quickly. -

Not trying to be political, but I truly believe we will be shutdown again sometime after the new year...Hope I'm wrong, but it's trending that way very quickly. -
What in the actual hell happened last night? That's an absolute hose job. Home court advantage is one thing....actually being down 10-0 in fouls in a close game is another. What a job done to Nicholls State, which I obviously have 0 connection to...tragic

IU/Butler/Notre Dame/Ball St? -
Jeepers, glad I waited until this morning to read all this.... I'm sad, pissed, mad, etc just like the rest of you. Some things: 1. We won't win many games this season where TJD attempts 10 or less shots. Just won't happen. 2. The fact that CMW didn't even think about putting KL in the game tells me he won't be here next season. Just my opinion. 3. A lot of calls didn't go our way when they obviously should have...Geronimo's dunk attempt, Durr, XJ, etc. 4. Indiana has had 2 golden opportunities for quality road wins. We'll get some this year. 5. Last night was game 9 of the CMW resume. While the result isn't a shock, what position would we have been under Archie at Syracuse or at Wisconsin? Trying to be positive. It's been too sad for too long, and I'm not going to let the 2nd half of last night's road game defeat my outlook for the rest of the season.

We’ve missed him running the middle of the floor twice now

No awareness. Kopp has looked uncomfortable the whole 8 minutes

None of Brad Davison’s stats should count on the all time list at Wisconsin. He’s been there since 2012 and he’s a tool. sorry, teaching is tough right now. These kids deserve better than what is going on in the world.
