Mmmmmm? Maybe.. idk. But yeah, allowing yourself to be burned by the same issue two years in a row, was always my issue. Lack of depth at guard, I understood what happened the first year XJ got hurt, but then allowing it this past season is inexcusable. Now-- I'm going back to Iu portal interests/personnel discussions and not ones directly about Woodson.

For sure. Now-- give yourself actual opportunities to play 3 guards for long stretches/medium stretches, as well as, have MM at the 4, at times. When your roster is--- hurt XJ/stupid XJ, Cupps, Gunn, hurt Newton, open scholly, Leal--- then factor in other injuries, poor play, foul trouble... It just doesn't leave you the ability to play 3 guards all that much. Frustrating.

Sarcastic about what? lots of myths here... but I still don't see the correlation to that and the thinking Carlyle will start over TG. He, by in large, plays the correct people. He just doesn't always do himself justice in the off-season, by leaving glaring holes open, and not giving himself enough options. Either way-- I don't see parallels between some of these "examples" in regards to who would start between TG/Carlyle.

Agree. But Indiana needs to keep pumping "Hickman is coming" ---- first to pop-- Conwell/Hickman gets the spot.

What examples do we have of the bold? I'm trying to think of a time he didn't start someone who clearly should be starting/not giving someone mins he should be? I do remember CMW's first year there was some CLAMORING to start TG or JG at the 3 over Kopp. I found that pretty remarkable.

I wouldn't wait on Ballo, when you have Payne that JUST took a visit. For one-- Payne has two years of eligibility left and will be a lot cheaper.

That was always going to happen, imo, and actually, one WR, after the first day of spring ball did hit the portal and thanked CCC pretty heavily on the way out. 1 or 2 more WRs, RBs is for sure likely.
