  1. Including this... you'll see John A Logan listed Top 10. Multiple past, VERY successful transfers in years past--- 5th rd pick Tanner Gordon and Logan Kaletha.. If Keyster is as successful at IU as those two, goodness, that will GREATLY lessen the loss of Sinnard. I'm actually a little surprised that move hasn't gotten more pub-- last 2 seasons in JUCO 75IP 1.92ERA .95WHIP 83Ks 21BB 50H ... IMO-- he's a "crafty LHP" so the analysts want to see how his stuff does at the D1 level? Idk. Idk enough about it... I think he only throws 85-88, but can do a lot with it. He also didn't start many games at that level.. his #s were spread out across 20 appearances... we'll see. I think we got a good one.
  2. Doubt it. I do remember this kid being a terror in like 4th-6th grade in AAU lol
  3. This season cannot come soon enough
  4. I think I would have voted for CMC the whole time. But, I also don't think the candidates were very strong this year.
  5. It wasn't effective when they did run, though. 6 carries for 6 yards, outside of GE one 15 yard run. It's a thing why they got beat, Greenie is dumb to think it's THE thing on why they got beat. 2 RZ TOs affected the outcome much more than the lack of running back touches.
  6. They played the entire 2nd half down 2 scores. 3 turnovers and 3 3 and outs. How can throwing the ball 37 times out of 53 total offensive plays be playing tight and scared, if you're the Ravens? They did have tons of time to get back in it, their lack of execution offensively sealed their fate, though. O cord-- didn't throw it into triple coverage in the RZ, he didn't fumble as he was running into the EZ, and he did not fumble in the pocket.... that's on the players. Greenie said that was the "hardest to understand" of all the things that happened yesterday? .. that's wild. That's dramatic, an alleged MVP candidate making a throw, an underthrow of all things, into triple coverage with the game on the line was massively harder to understand than not realizing how much game flow affected play calling.
  7. 🤣.. or you know, the team that Mahomes plays on, coupled with the work the GM/Coaches do, along with Patrick's continued excellent play have put the Chiefs in a position to win another super bowl. the continued glorification of the QB position... he's awesome, but he shouldn't be the story, then again neither should be Swift/Kelce. THEIR TEAM. should be the story, the defense has been money all year. Things that frustrate me in sports for 500, please, Alex.
  8. See... an example of not understanding the game. Game flow did NOT allow the Ravens to have any sort of huge number of rushing attempts, especially by RBs.
  9. I do think MM has played.... better, recently. But what he lacks is what we REALLY need him to be able to do. Unfortunate.
  10. Yeah, I don't agree, at all. No more than the others have developed/been scouted/and or are mental jokes. I haven't been involved in any of those convos, though.
  11. I think they said Maryland's best player suffered a knee injury?
  12. With our personnel-- I think what we run is about what we should run. I think XJ, Cupps, TG don't complement each other well enough, couple that with Banks, MM, and Gunn being horrible off the dribble and you have the shitshow we are currently in. I am not a fan of our personnel, and how our personnel complement each other, at this time, significantly more than I am the offensive system. Again.. "at this time"... bringing in McNeely, finding portal help, and hopefully MM coming back and we could alter the style some, but the different personnel could change things quite a bit for next season. But-- no Ware, XJ is a basket case, MM can't create consistently, TG can't shoot (allll things Woodson is responsible for ish, I understand that) but all of that happening--- yeah, I understand why we ground and pound with Malik a lot. I get it. I don't see that we have many other options in the half court, we did get some PnR going with XJ on Saturday.... but even then, XJs style of play is never to be a threat from the 3pt line off of that.... find a Yogi skill set to run your point. I'm rambling.... IF, FFS, IF--- we could EVER rebound on the defensive end at a high clip, or offense would benefit exponentially because we could run so much more often. And running GREATLY benefits-- XJ, TG, and probably MM, and definitely Gunn/Banks when they play. Walker for sure, as well. Ware/MR getting the benefits of being the trailers in transition/secondary transition.
  13. yeah I'll pass on watching IN ST lol
  14. I just can't believe anyone watches Kel'el Ware and Mgbako plays and actually calls them 5 stars. What is 5 stars about their games? Kel'el was 7'1 205lbs as a FR at Oregon.... Malik wasn't a 5 star. high 4, and he's playing like that. Showed good things as a FR, very much improved his game/body and now avg 17p 7r 3a in conference games playing 33mpg after playing 15mpg as a FR. MM should have been rated in the 50s/60s... Ware probably around there, as well. Maybe a little higher.
  15. I'd have no regrets if I were the Lions. Go win the offseason and keep building. Good coach, good QB, great OL, one of the best DE's in the in the game.
  16. Saw that win for Creek and was even more impressed with our win on the road against SC.
  17. They beat Fishers and Ben Davis in the same weekend lol week prior they beat Pike, Brownsburg. They are currently a Top 15 rated team in the state via Sagarin. Every single loss Carmel has is to a Top 25 team in the state. Plus Trinity in Louisville. Including 5 losses to Top 8 teams in the state. They have played the #1 rated schedule in the state. They still have 5 games left, all against Top 20 teams in the state-- 4 of them in the Top 11.
  18. Yep. I would sit her against NW no matter what, NW sucks ......and maybe that is their way of respectfully doing that? If she sits Sunday, she will have gotten 10-11 days to heal before Maryland. We'll see, but yeah, it certainly seems this isn't anything major.
  19. SEEEEEE those years of preparation paid off!
  20. Parrish ruled out indefinitely with a foot injury.
  21. https://iuhoosiers.com/news/2024/1/26/indiana-baseball-preseason-primer
  22. Mathison sort of flew under the radar last year--- he had a few balls he KILLED in poor weather games and ended up outs that wouldn't be in warm weather days.... He was SOOO much more advanced as a hitter, compared to his FR year, and his OBP shows that. Went from .393 to .426
