I have no idea. All I am saying... if the order of events eventually lead to MH being the UM HC..... he HAS to do well at Indiana first. There is no route for him to be the HC there and struggle at IU. Isn't happening.

I can't imagine anyone being upset if we were able to hire him. I still question why he'd be interested, but I know we've hashed that out.

I have no problem if Mike Hart is hired away, by Michigan, to be their HC. That's the only school MH has shown he'd leave IU for. IF MH is hired by UM to be their HC, at some point, that would mean he would have won big time at Indiana. UM isn't hiring him if he struggles at IU.

Doesn't matter. Dane's also a dbag and Mike Hart isn't, so that would be why I'd prefer someone like Hart to coach here and not Dane Fife. But that is all an example. Mike Hart was 24-21 while on our staff with 2 bowl appearances in 4 years.

That's an interesting way to look at that. Mike had multiple opps to leave, but didn't leave IU until he had a chance to go back to his alma mater, I assume make more money, and coach at one of the T5 football programs in the country. There is no, absolutely no mark on his "character" or whatever else for making that decision. How's that different than Dane Fife?

I agree to the first paragraph wholeheartedly. Thats why I asked the questions about Kansas State.. mimic how they get dudes. Now.. what sets ISU a part.. Matt Campbell. At KSU that was Bill Snyder.

Show me and I'll listen... where can we draw that from? Where does Kansas State get their kids from? How do they convince them to go there? ... what offseason, everything, do they do? And I don't agree with Iowa St being on that list. Matt Campbell is awesome. Nor Minny. I understand it's a whole outlook you're talking about, but MC at ISU trumps our potential, imo. I'd take him.

They are in Tennessee, and very close to GA, AL, and MS which all have football players galore. And NC. Sorry, but I disagree. If we are just going off records?.. does that favor IU, I have never looked.
