  1. Where is that known? Who knows that? I hope so.
  2. At Indiana? Yeah, I think that is wild.
  3. Wow. I just don't understand firing him mid-season (that was the hypocritical part for me being a Colts fan)
  4. It's hard for me to believe they'd pay that to hire many of the guys in this thread, though. I do agree.. big risk. It was also a risk playing a 5'10 185lbs QB for 4 years. It worked. Sorry, I just flat out think ARE has just as good as shot as working as a HC at IU as about anyone. Again, at IU.
  5. Without the personality, it's not relevant what else you have. ARE is intoxicating in a good way. So I don't agree with you.
  6. How are any of you suggesting Chris Creighton with a straight face?
  7. I guess I'm confused as to why he hasn't been on more lists to begin with. Have you ever met him? But.. his personality, and I believe he'd be able to recruit, would be the main reasons. If we have to convince ARE to take the job, I'm out... but in my perfect scenario... he waltzed into Dolson's office with a fully laid out plan, what he needed, etc to be successful. Paul Chryst is coming to IU, going to slap on an IU pullover, and walk into recruits home in FL, in Carmel, in Cinci and Paul Chryst is going to convince kids to come to Indiana. I see no way shape or form he would do that, or even want to. It'd be a paycheck. You can take Paul Chryst's name out and insert about 85% of the mentions in this thread and it would fit what I just said. Bunch of "nice" coaches listed in this thread, very few of them are going to be able to recruit at Indiana.
  8. Meh. None of these dudes are gonna make it work at IU, most aren't even realistic. No, he's not more attractive to Indiana. Maybe to Mich State. He looks like a tree on the sideline, a tree has more personality.
  9. Reese and JG are their starting 4/5? I like that.
  10. wild to me that someone would want Paul Chryst over ARE. To each their own, I guess. Creighton seems like another shitty option. "proven" by your definition is very "light" imo. More like... "Has been a D1 HC before"
  11. I'm with you. Kel'el is damn good. You can see why he struggled at 7ft 205 last year!!! That's malpractice allowing him to play at that weight. No doubt CMW and staff have gotten through to him. He "fights".
  12. That's wild and sort of disrespectful to me. Maybe that sounds hypocritical coming from a Colts fan? You trade the house for a 6ft 190lbs QB, get him ZERO weapons, after being awful for quite a few years and it's Frank's fault? Has any coach been fired, midseason, in back-to-back years before?
  13. Peacock has past seasons of Yellowstone btw. Those games, Yellowstone for $20 a year is very solid lol
  14. We will need these cupcakes games coming up to get the bench in tune with what we need moving forward. Need some more production out of it.
  15. Malik scoring output- 15, 14, 16, 18, 12, 17-- crazy consistent. Avg 15ppg 61% FG 4r 3a More improvement rebounding the ball, more improvement defending the perimeter. His stepping into a major role and flourishing offensively has been nice to see. Avg over 2TOs per game, so hopefully he cuts some of those out.
  16. We start the B1G season on a Friday? Splitting the next 4 would be huge. Also.. can't stand Reese or his sister.
  17. Dylan Powell is going off on IU admin today.
  18. My wife and I spent New Years+ 1 day at a January bowl game in FL against a SEC school. Never thought IUFB would be in a spot to be able to experience that.
  19. Huh? We would pay him 4x+ what he's making now. Not sold he'd even take it though.
  20. We need to identify talent in Indy better.. there are MAC teams, Cinci, etc every year with guys that are better than our 2s, 3s, for sure... and some play makers. How tf did we not offer Carson Steele? Anyways... a MAC coach would be solid because they've recruited the midwest. IMO--- we should always be somewhat of an attractive option to some under-the-radar FL kids because of the opportunity to play in the B1G. Have to keep identifying those talents. I'm way more worried about who we recruit and how we develop, and consistently we can do both.. compared to what we call on 3rd and 2.
  21. Dan Campbell of all people would be one to make this work.
