I’m so confused if Logan is received as an exciting 4* commitment or a player we should have passed? Normally when a player commits, HSN is happy with glee but I didn’t sense that with this one? IMO, the kid is so young that his body hasn’t filled out yet and fans see there is no way to compete in this league as is. Correct, which is why we shouldn’t suggest meaningful minutes until his JR season but after that the sky is the limit for this kid. Maybe we’re spoiled with immediate contributions from players like Jerrod Jeffries, Noah Von, Cody Zeller or TJD but these players are RARE. End of day, I’m sure HSN will be very happy with this commit!

So from what I’ve read is that Logan Duncomb was a bad signing due to no outside shot or presence? Do I need to remind you that Vic Dipo couldn’t hit water if he fell out of a boat in the Pacific Ocean coming into College? The kid seems to have all the other measurables that you want & thankfully as we have witnessed, a shot can be found.

Yes Sir but please realize that players like Garza are very rare & we can’t expect every big that commits to IU to be that player. Bigs dominate the paint, wings/guards dominate the 3pt line is how it should be. Cody Zeller, Noah Vonleah, TJD NEVER had an outside shot?

Of course, but TJD has no issues w/o a 3 pt shot! I guess my understanding of a Big is different today than when i grew up. If you need an outside shot to be successful, you might be a 4 instead of a 5.

I understand that but has nothing to do with his dominance in the paint! If he didn’t have an outside shot, teams still wouldn’t be able to guard him in the post. That is just an added bonus to his NBA resume but I want BIGS to dominate the paint first. The kid from IL dominated the paint w/o any outside shot.

Since when do we expect a BIG to develop an outside shot? Did Luka Garza dominate at the 3 pt line or in the PAINT? I want our BIGS to DOMINATE in the area they man & that’s in the PAINT!!! I thought Guards & Wings were supposed to have an outside game?? Bigs who need a jumper are Bigs who can’t dominate!!!

This kid will be a staple come his Jr/Sr season mark my words! 75-100 ranked players take a yr or two to develop at this level but come yr 3/4 we won’t care! How long did it take Luka Garza to become dominant? This is an Iowa/Wis type player that other teams will hate in just a few short yrs! Patience HSN

BRAVO!!! Most IU fans forget that the Cody led Hoosiers were the #1 seed but failed to get past the sweet sixteen!!! Watching reruns of this team makes me sick as to how we didn’t make it to at least the final four! Insert CAM and with a less talented squad didn’t make the Tourney in his first two yrs as the team struggled to buy in! By yr three if it wasn’t for a Frosh B10 player of the yr, the Hoosiers would’ve missed the Tourney again! Fast forward to yr 4, and it all seems to come together as TJD returns and 5 star talent is added to the pg position! Question is, does this team buy in to CAM system or TBD...

For ever Vic Dipo there is a bust!!! If IU is handing out scholarships to kids like Geronimo, it’s a reach IMO and not what we need to compete for a NC. We’re now counting on a player that has weaknesses to hone his game & become ALL PRO like Vic Dipo! Not saying this kid can’t replicate Vic but ODDS say otherwise!! Prove me wrong Geronimo that your fate isn’t the same as DA! This program can’t wait until your JR season until your ready so let’s go!
