  1. I feel like this is a seminal moment in world history... We need to put aside our differences. Russia and China will eat our lunch if we, as a country, don't. I appreciate everyone's input, but let's try to be patriots rather than partisans...
  2. YouTube TV mobile app and Zoom Video off are a match made in heaven ๐Ÿ˜
  3. At this point I feel that history will indeed repeat itself... The West will allow Putin to run roughshod over eastern Europe until he finally steps foot in a NATO country...if it's Poland, that would be deja vu...
  4. Russia confirms use of thermobaric weapons "Thermobaric weapons suck in oxygen from the surrounding air to generate a high-temperature explosion, typically producing a blast wave of a significantly longer duration than that of a conventional explosive. They are capable of vaporising human bodies"
  5. Nebraska reverts to their January form in the last 8 minutes...Verge and Trey McGowans play out of control at the end and Huskers lose by 2...
  6. 6'2... The Wildcats clawed their way back in...only down 3 with 7 to go...
  7. They look really good that's for sure... That's with Bryce McGowans scoring a whole 3 points...they get 4 or 5 of these guys back, Hoiberg will have a pretty good team...
  8. Nebraska up 12 on Northwestern with 4 to go in the first... Their defense is really improved...
  9. I did too, but Nebraska is hot right now...
  10. I think Nebraska beats Northwestern... And Penn State over Minny...
  11. How'd that work out? Underwood allowed Curbelo to play, I would say through mistakes, but more like in spite of mistakes... Does he occasionally make a spectacular play? Yes...but he makes a lot of boneheaded plays as well... Curbelo has shot 36% overall this year and 20% from 3 with a 1:1 assist to turnover ratio... Neither can play defense. My opinion is that and his reckless play with the ball would have kept Curbelo off the floor under Coach Woody just like it did Lander...
  12. I still wouldn't trade him for Curbelo...
  13. I wonder what my sentence at the Siberian Stoney Lonesome would be for calling Vlad a "stooge" if I lived in Russia...๐Ÿ˜‰
  14. I'm thinking @Coach Shep struggles with "rates" and shouldn't apply for a mortgage any time soon...
  15. I personally think China views Putin as their stooge to see how much the west will tolerate before they start sabre rattling...
  16. I don't know who picks the FoW... Both Branham and McGowans made 3rd team All Big 10, so apparently it was close...McGowans scored more per game and and had better rebound numbers, but shot it at a lower percentage. Branham had the advantage of playing on a better team. Both pretty good talents I'd have on my team any day...
  17. Totally different usage profile though... I can't pull a horse trailer or haul hay in an affordable EV truck. Around where I live, everybody has a truck, and many of them use them to make their living... I do get it, and I want us to eventually get there, but we have to be fair to those people and we cannot put ourselves at an economic or military disadvantage trying to get there too quickly.
  18. Bryce McGowans was B10 FoW 8 times... Branham was FoW 3 times ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
  19. How does Malik Hall get Honorable Mention with 10 ppg and 5 rpg over Race at 13 and 8?

  21. Wow...Malaki Branham wins Big 10 Freshman of the Year over Bryce McGowans...
  22. I understand what you're saying about overall team defense, but if we're going to give players credit for doing a good defensive job on a certain player, we should certainly defend a player when someone he's not assigned to guard has a good shooting night...
  23. XJ wasn't assigned to guard Houstan...
