Didn’t know where to ask this but what’s the Deal on Duncomb he doesn’t get any meaningful time. 

We all know this team goes the way XJ Johnson goes! Rob P has a great game we beat Purdue , Johnson plays well we win! My hope is that Bates, and Galloway can raise their games to higher levels! 
I keep waiting for Stewart to go off and hit 5 or 6 threes! He doesn’t seem to have the ability to get his shots! Kopp hasn’t been the three point shooter I was hoping for! He doesn’t get many attempts either! 

About how hard Hulls and Oladipo worked. I read one time that Larry Bird shot so many shots during the off season that there were spots on the floor that if he was there he could make the shot with out seeing the rim! Just by muscle memory.

How many possessions does K-pop come down stands in the corner doesn’t crash the board for rebound’s doesn’t move out into passing lanes, just kind of stands there! Steward kind of same thing just stands on the wing. That’s why those two are easily guarded! 
poor shooting is our weakness! Makes everything else a struggle!

OSU has run that same play at the end of games against IU since Holtmann has been there and IU still hasn't figure out what to do to stop it. In fact, just about every B1G team has used it the past few years. Race is a lot of things but he doesn't have the quickness to stay near a smaller, faster shooter and OSU took advantage again.

Not that it should have mattered. IU had two chances late in regulation to win it and both times they took a challenged three instead of just driving to the rim. Not smart. IU has mastered not smart basketball in the past few weeks.

You mean years! I think Bates made that decision himself to take that three at the end because once he got the ball he didn’t even tried to drive are fine another player. 

We do so many things to lose games it’s maddening! How many teams can you name with 20 sec on the clock down five in the first half miss the bunny and both free throws! should has only been down 1 at half. 
Then up four with 1:30 to play and not score in four possessions to get tied and go to overtime! Johnson starting the game with 4 turnover, Race I believe had two one he just plain dribbled out of bounds. 

There are others, but these stick out to me! 

Damn, it’s just not fun anymore! 

We should have won another one!

Leah misses two free throws! We had a chance at 4 easy points in the last 20 seconds and came up with nothing! Down 5! So frustrating

I will state the obvious! Every really good basketball team has a great Point Guard and scoring forwards. Which makes the avg big man really good. 
Every great football team has a really good QB! He gets the ball the the players on the team that make plays! 

So yes I would agree we are getting better ,but Woodson needs to find some really good shooters. Bates, Galloway Leah. Need to show us they were what we thought they were when we recruited them! 
If I was a freshmen coming in next year and I wanted playing time. I would work my butt off developing my shot and ball handling skills. Find out from Woodson who I need to work with to develop my shot and ball handling. 
These freshman coming in have had their way in high school. Once you starting playing in the Big Ten you’ll find out your not all that anymore. So you better be ready! 

I wonder if a final summer working on fundamentals and basketball IQ, would be better then play AAU just running up an down the court.? 

The suspension for me was very disappointing! Shows that those particular players don’t really care much about IU. 

I still am positive Coach Woodson will get this program turned around! He’s done a good job with this group. 

He will need to add some players for next year. A really good shooting wing would be nice. Some big guys who can play, because I think both Race an TJD leave. I don’t see Landers being any better! Hope I’m wrong ,will be surprised if he doesn’t transfer USI is going D1. Chance for him to go home! 

I bet we’re going to be looking very hard in Transfer Portal!

We are better then last year,just not as good as we hoped we’d be! I expected soo much more out of Stewart, Johnson and Bates! 
no winners, we had a seven point lead late in this game and had three possessions in a row where we didn’t even get a shot. Winners know this is the time to win the game and put it away! 

God Landers sucks

This game is to big for Landers!

Still need better guard play and better scorers!
