This lead has felt more insurmountable than the one at Northwestern to me. But Now is the time if we’re going to do it

The Assembly Call guys made a vague reference a few weeks ago that there are known issues the B10 refs have with Woodson based on how he interacts with them and, in my loose paraphrasing “his NBA ego”. I haven’t seen or heard anything else about it but it sure feels like this sometimes. Especially when Scirotto turns his back on Woody after the first T and doesn’t even give him the courtesy of an explanation. Refs are human and make mistakes, that’s fine, it comes with the territory. But it seems like something else is at play here, at least with certain officials.

Realistic - win tonight, take care of home court, and at worst you go 4-2 and finish overall 22-9 (13-7). Not bad.

Find a way to take another one or two on the road, don't take a bad lose in the conf tourney, and your big dance seeding is looking very good. Hopefully playing close to home (Columbus, OH?). 

Seems like a recipe for a solid 4 seed lock with an outside chance for a 3, to me!

I’m no expert but I assume it’s just a reaction to heavy action on IU with the original line and Vegas is trying to even out the odds to make it more attractive to pick NU so the house isn’t at risk of losing big. Of course injuries, etc can also factor in.

I took my boys last night and just tried to convey to them how special TJD is and not to take this for granted because players this talented just don’t come around very often - or stay this long. Soak it in. I’ve been watching IUBB for 40+ years and TJD is an easy top 5 guy for me. He would be on talent alone but his unique balance of personality, humility and intensity make him a no brainer 

Regarding the Race booing, I was there across from the students and didn’t hear it. Not saying it didn’t happen, just that it wasn’t audibly noticeable for me or my kids. Which means maybe (hopefully) it wasn’t noticeable to the players either. There were definitely some groans but hopefully it was just a few isolated idiots who don’t appreciate what Race has meant to this program. 

I’m emotionally worn out already. Glad I’m not the one suiting up for another 20 minutes (and you should be too) 

How about a clear out there on Furst if you’re going to call that on MK

Oklahoma is 2-6 in conference. I realize they’re in different conferences but you’re ranked 2 and lose by 30? Another example of decent teams laying an egg (although this is like a dozen really rotten eggs)

I’m not one bit concerned. Every team struggles now and then, especially on the road, and we didn’t have Woody and still won. We will see a much better performance come Saturday. Enjoy the dub!

I figured we would lose a game like this at some point this year, it just would’ve sucked to happen when we already dropped two bad games to Penn State Northwestern. We figured out a way to win and that’s all I care about right now

End of Duke vs Va tech. Virginia tech guy hit a shot to put them ahead in the final seconds and pumps his fist in celebration as he turns around and clocks Filipowski. No flagrant. How mad would we be if that was TJD getting punched? Crazy
