I saw that Brendan Hausen from Villanova is expected to visit Nebraska now on Monday. Seems most of their fans hope they don’t put the full press on trying to get Essegian if they’re able to end up getting Hausen instead.

This is my hope as well. Maryland was one of the other couple places he happened to visit, so I’m hoping they’re just saying dumb stuff because they’re upset they aren’t getting him. I surely hope it’s not true. I’ve got really high hopes for this one for multiple reasons.

2. THe seat was hot Dolson has his guy lined up and the BOT or President said no way

3. Woodson has been told that he just needs to step away after the season. He had his vote of confidence which quiets one side of the discussion and IU does not have to fire him. Win win. 

 

 

I’ve been trying to tell myself that it’s #3, and hoping like heck it’s the case. The announcement keeps things quiet and then he announces he’s stepping down at the end of the season, making it appear as though it was his decision and not actually being fired.

I like this. Obviously it could be way off and he is indeed back, but maybe they put that out there so that at the end of the season if he announces retirement then it’s everyone making it look like his decision to step away. Just seems like an odd thing to randomly announce before the season is up. Gets everyone to calm down a bit and stop speculating and then they have Woodson be the guy to say he gracefully steps aside.

I just feel like we’ve been surprised before after “announcements” like this. Like I said though, also wouldn’t surprise me if he really is back and if so then I root like heck for him to come up with a great roster to do something with.

I know Woodson wants to look like a savior and not a quitter, but at this point, most fans would consider him a savior by quitting…

Welp, I can tell I think about this topic too much haha: 

last night had a dream that I was at Assembly Hall and we played against ISU. When Schertz walked out onto the floor from the tunnel our crowd stood up and gave him a roaring ovation lol. Then they beat us and as he walked off, our crowd cheered for him again and he waved at the crowd with a big smile. Someone in the seats by me went “that’s the guy a lot of people hope will be our next coach.” 
 

when I woke up I kinda chuckled and couldn’t believe I just had a dream like that ha. 

Looking back, kinda crazy to know we have only won by double digits twice so far this season, the most being 13 points to Harvard. Obviously a win is a win and I’ll take them however we can get them, but I’m certainly ready to see an all around dominant game where we blow a team out by 25+ like we’re supposed to be capable of doing. 

This guy pumps me up. Before he was hired, I looked forward to IU football because it meant we were closer to basketball haha. 

Heck yeah! I wanna see him back on the Pat McAfee show talking about IU FOOTBALL.

Yep, I think my favorite scenario would be HC Tom Herman with OC Justin Frye. 

I want it to be a matter of Woody and staff getting everyone to troll Kentucky since we hate them lol. That’d be so great, but obviously doubtful.

From his perspective, he’ll have X up top, Ware down low, and Woodson at the helm. That’s gotta look pretty attractive. Darn near a perfect fit for what we need. He’s a scorer.

Not sure how legit this is, but just sharing what I saw. Posted within the last 20 min. Don’t know if the pic of him wearing the IU gear is old, photoshopped, recent and real, don’t know. Just passing along. Maybe others have more info about it.
