2023 PG Jeremy Fears Commits to Michigan State
Indykev replied to Between2Halls's topic in Basketball Recruiting
There is a new 580 bed building going up now on Walnut, where the Motel 6 used to sit, that is going to match Evolve. Plenty of takers with Evolve always having a wait list. 3 more buildings going up around BTown along with this big one. I for one hope they build themselves into lower rent. Only so many bodies to fill all the housing. -
Are You Ready For Some Fantasy Football - HSN Style
Indykev replied to 5fouls's topic in General Football Discussion
I'm in. may need 2 leagues. -
Big pick up here when you remember the NCAA waived who can give on court instruction for this season. Going to run out of sits on the bench if they keep making up jobs. lol.

A lot of good schools on this 3 star kid. Maybe under rated.

Most of those if not all of the 10 practices will be in Bloomington before they go. if a storm stops the trip no big deal. -

Another great move by this staff and Admin. The 10 team practices are priceless with a whole new system going in on both ends of the court. -
yes. good now.

I'm just going to say it. He could be all-B10 if healthy.
-
He had Plantar Fasciitis for a couple seasons. I had it and you can't walk. I couldnt even think of cutting as a running back with it. Its retired a few guys.

I think the days recruiting kids out of the top 50 are over. Why invest in the 100 ranked kid for 2 years and he can transfer on you after not playing much year 1. The High school kids you bring in better be really to play. CMW is an NBA guy who only plays 7 or 8 guys, maybe 9. We will be a big portal team every year. Save that recruiting budget.

You can find some great package deals.

Go by and wash my windows please.

I miss this guy

Loved CMW comment on Trace has to become a more willing player scoring at the rim. I thought far to many times in the past he gave into the contact and just threw the ball toward the basket wishing it in. Even his little jump hook he was looking for the bounce. I also loved his comment about players not liking being recruited over. He said he wont ever tell a kid it wont happen. He wants the best players and players that want competition. Love It!!

Tee to green Augusta is nothing. Its the greens that get you. If it's not masters week they slow the greens down and you can play to your handicap. The hardest Golf course i ever played was Isleworth CC where a lot of Pro's live. Where Tiger's ex did a 5fouls job with a 9 iron to his car....lol It was a event to raise money for Bruce Edwards, Tom Watson's old caddie who was fighting ALS. Chris DiMarco was my partner in alt-shot and we were playing a couple of guys who paid to play with us. The greens were so fast, Chris left me a 3 foot putt i hit the hole and he had 10 feet coming back. After the 3rd time i did it to him, he yelled at me, you know Tiger shot 57 here yesterday, its not that hard.

Please Coach Allen no more taking commits 2 years out, no matter what the kid says. Hard enough keeping these kids focused for 6 months. With the portal if they aren't 4 or 5 star high school players i might just fish in the portal every year. Save a ton of time, money and headaches recruiting H.S. kids and their families.

Ryder Cup was in 91. We played it in 92' Daly had just won the PGA at the end of 91 and I was playing the Wilson Killer Whale. It was the start of the big head drivers. We were still using Bakata covered golf balls. Thats pretty close to when the golf ball started to change. Those balls would spin back 60 feet. Maxfi had the best ball and players at the time and then their plant in Japan burnt down and they left the golf business. I remember Fred Couples, Greg Norman and Nick Price all went to the Tour Edition gold ball. If you were paired with them you couldn't walk a head on the green because they couldnt control the spin and might bring it back 100 feet. lol. 3 of the best ball strikers of all time couldnt keep the ball on the green. Callaway took over the game after that and destroyed it the same year.

never understood why Baseball players can go pro out of high school but basketball players cant. (just trying to throw something about basketball into this baseball thread on the basketball board. MODS is that ok, dont want to screw up a baseball thread on the basketball board.)
