  1. I get the sense Race is leaving which is fine with me. If TJD leaves we’ll have a hole to fill, but otherwise I’m liking the projected roster so far as long as XJ stays for another year.
  2. I think it’s more about sticking to your word and being consistent. If someone told me at my job they were only doing 2% raises this year and gave a coworker (especially someone who I thought was worse than me) a 7% raise I would be upset. I don’t see what’s so confusing about XB being upset in the scenario described above if it’s true.
  3. I think he stays if Race moves on
  4. I think he’s referring to guys who came back for a 3rd season and raised their draft stock. Not talking about guys who played 2 years.
  5. I really don’t get why Edey was on the bench in the last few minutes. He was automatic when he was in the game.
  6. They took out Kentucky and Purdue in the same tournament. They are IU’s best friend.
  7. St. Peter’s is playing with a lot more composure than Purdue right now. Edey is the only unstoppable piece.
  8. I’m finding myself root for St. Peter’s almost as hard as I root for IU.
  9. I love this move. Recruits were referring to him as Coach Walsh which I thought was telling at how much work he was putting in towards recruiting. He’s clearly respected and I’m excited to see how he does as an assistant coach.
  10. I wish nothing but the best for Rob. I’m really hoping this means XJ is sticking around one more year.
  11. If all 3 are back, I really hope Geronimo stays and starts on the wing. Race and TJD could spell each other a bit more, and then you have XJ and JHS as the starting guards. I think it works.
  12. We need to get the best recruiter possible. If Brian Walsh is ready, then go with him. If not, go get a stud recruiter who can bring what Woodson needs. We have enough basketball minds with the coaching staff, Coach Hill and Wittman. We need a recruiter.
  13. Apparently he’s a front runner for the Ball State job
  14. I definitely didn’t mean to sound like Lander should be shunned and banned from all facilities. I was mostly just curious as an outsider what the procedure would be in a similar situation to his just from a logistics standpoint.
  15. I appreciate your perspective, and I agree that a lot of people are jumping to conclusions based on a small percentage of info. I’m not really thinking this is necessarily a good thing or a bad thing. It’s just a thing that happens and we’ll see how it turns out. I think for me I get somewhat annoyed when posters (not you in this case) use a lot of hyperbole that frankly just sounds really dramatic.
  16. I don’t have a dog in this fight beyond wanting IU basketball to be successful, but can you confidently say you know what Dane Fife’s character is? We watch interviews and see him on the sideline, but none of us know him.
  17. That’s a great point about Lander bonding with and having good relationships with the team. I’m curious where if a guy blindsided the coaching staff or ended on bad terms if he would still be entitled to using the team facilities.
  18. I have a logistics question when it comes to basketball transfers. What a player (like Lander) announces they want to transfer, do they finish out their semester at their current school? If so, where do they work out and get shots up between leaving their current school and enrolling in their new school? I imagine it’d be awkward for Lander to use the IU team facilities when he decides to transfer, but where else is he supposed to go to train?
  19. If you open in the YouTube app you can scroll back to the beginning.
  20. Totally forgot Stewart and I completely agree.
  21. 5 is probably a good guess. I’m thinking we’ll lose 5 or 6 from this following group: Durr, Kopp, TJD, Race, Rob, Lander, and Johnson.
  22. I can’t think of the last time I hated a player more than Brad Davison.
