Yes our guard play coming up is going to be Excellent but losing race and TJD is going to be impossible to overcome and I just really hope that Logan is soaking in everything TJD is teaching him because he is the replacement unless we get a stud big guy in the portal which is needed. Yes exactly. Bates has a chance to get better because he’s young but X is who he is RP is who he is… Durr is who he is. If Bates and Geronimo continue to improve by end of season then our second unit has the potential to be better but if they regress or are inconsistent then you and others will be consistently frustrated. I thought we battled tonight. I think we did well in the second half because X and RP limited there shots in the second half where as in games past they took wayyyy too many. Logan Duncombs arms are LONGGGGGG I think he could have a major impact with a year of learning under trayce.

John Bol is Terrible…. He had more blocks than rebounds and maybe like 8-10 points mostly from free throw line… he’s engaged in the game but DOES NOT post up on the low block. His hands are insanely bad. If they pass him the ball he doesn’t catch it cleanly. Cooper Koch didn’t look great… had an ok game and a decent shot. In his defense he would work hard down low and they wouldn’t pass it to him. For being their best player they didn’t run the offense through him. The one time he got the ball down low he backed the player down and had a nice turn around jumper but other than that he shot a couple of 3s. The best player all day was unranked kid from Moline that’s a Jr. he’s such a stud. I mean you had 7th Ranked 19th ranked 24th ranked 47th ranked in certain classes and he outshined them all.

Update watch out for a kid from Moline Illinois. Brock Harding Jr. from Moline Illinois 6 Ft faced Michael Porter Jrs team and beat them by 8 in OT He had 25 points 8 rebounds 5 assists and 5 steals. He’s a Junior and could see him blowing up.

I’m at the Highland Shootout today and he is here amd playing against kenwood Illinois who has 4 division 1 recruits. Cooper Koch is also here and has offers from Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Ohio St. etc…

So true story.. my dads family is from brown county Indiana and one of Mellencamps sons was in someone in my dads family’s wedding so I always say I went to a wedding with him 😂😂😂😂…. Is there any rules to Mark Cuban giving NIL’s? If so I bet he has some friends that could step in for him to get around those rules. Cuban has a crap ton of money he should be giving to the players if he’s allowed. I think the issue is going to be NIL for these top prospects… Kentucky, Duke, UNC, Texas have people who will pay crap tons to bring top recruits in. I just don’t think Indiana has that which surprises me with how much people love Indiana basketball.
