I 1000% agree. I’m soooo freaking tired of all of these “fans” being babies because we didn’t get a couple recruits. In the 2021 in state class there was literally 1 or maybe 2 players I wanted everyone else to me wasn’t worth it... they also are forgetting that our 2020 class was loaded and 3 of the 4 are 4 year players. I’ve said this multiple times and I will continue to say it. I love CAM but I do put this on him. His strategy is to let the assistant coaches be the lead recruits and then he is the closer even when it’s on big time recruits. AM is a top 15 player and CAM didn’t even start building a relationship until recently. People ask how Howard is getting all of these recruits to commit and other coaches too and it’s all about the head coach establishing the relationship early.

In regards to MM. being the guy means nothing if it doesn’t give you a great chance to get drafted high in the NBA draft. There have been only two first round draft picks for Creighton since 1985 and both of them were stone cold killer shooters. MM is not that and going to Creighton doesn’t give him the chances of getting drafted high like at IU no matter how relevant IU is or not.

Indiana is almost never the first major offer so what changed with this kid... someone in his range (because rankings do matter in offers) is where Indiana always waits to make an offer especially with them having way more targets at that position for 2021 and 2022. 2. is this someone who is low because of his points but could skyrocket as he develops with the reclassification? 3. what’s your first impressions of him?

What also has to be taken into consideration is the new rule where the nba is taking essentially a one year practice squad... it’s hard to even determine who you should and shouldn’t recruit... normally Kentucky duke get the top ten guys but with a lot of them out of the picture they will be offering guys more in our range of recruitment.

Just want to give a very cool story about Logan. Sometimes kids just get being in the spotlight and that’s who I want representing my school. So Hoosier Hysterics put something out about Logan’s nickname and I replied it should be Duncomb Donuts. Logan likes my reply. Next day I then tweeted to Hoosier Hysterics that since Logan likes my reply that it’s settled that should be his nickname. He likes that tweet to. It may not mean much but I thought it was really cool so I wanted to do something Coll for Logan. I then made a video of my 3 year old son saying Logan will be his future favorite IU player. Not only did Logan retweet it but his grandma and great grandma both replied to me. Those situations just don’t happen often and Logan is going to go far in Life because not only does he understand the spotlight but so does his family. If you have a chance to go find it on his twitter page that’s my adorable 3 year old and hopefully future IU player.
