Considering weather conditions and the inability to convert especially on 3rd down I really felt the offense should have slowed the tempo down in the first half. They were playing too fast and it led to alot of mistakes.
Agreed, the second half they seemed to be slower and more controlled. The running game looked much better this game.

OK was at the game Friday night. Overall great atmosphere up to half time. Was disappointed in student section after half.
The run game needs some work. There were no openings in the middle all night. It felt like we were very slow and mechanical after the snap with no flow to the offense. I felt like our D kept us in the game most of the night even being on the field as much as they were. Overall very happy with the W but was not impressed with the O play calls.

Is there a thread discussing who has committed to stay and who is leaving?

Ok so I am not the only one who did not know who KJ was. Good...
When we landed Stewart I thought the talk was we would have him for two years. Did last year count even though he didn't play?
From the current players why do we feel like RP and RT would be leaving unless they have a sure spot in the pros. Why not say as a 5th year player and get a masters?
-
Based on the open spots for next year we are currently full with one over. Someone is leaving (TJD??). We are in on several 2022 recruits with several offers on the table. Based on that where do we see the spots coming from. I know some of the Seniors will be 5th year based on Covid and may want to move on but what does everyone else see as a possibility? I don't see Stewart, Johnson, Kopp or Durr leaving after just transferring (could be wrong). Do we have any others that may be able to just to the NBA?

I really like the balance of the roster now. I am not going to predict who starts since we have not seen any of these guys in CMW offence or defensive sets. Just because they were good or not in CAMs system may not translate the same now in the flow of a game under CMW. For me it doesn't matter, if the team plays to win and the guys who practice well, will get the playing time. What I don't want to see is lazy play now. There is no reason not to put someone on the bench and put in the guy willing to work hard. Also, don't want to see the staff pulling guys that have momentum on the floor.

This was great. I love him more now than I thought I would. I think he 100% understands what needs to happen.
PS - I hope he is the direction of the future with the program.

its already happened and if guys don't decide there will be a replacement sooner rather than later.
So we have replacements lined up or we will start working on lining up?

Is there a direct link to the Grid without going to the thread topic page 1?

247 has him as a 4 star just outside the top 100.

Saying no shooters were added is a little dramatic because Armaan came in and Jerome was a redshirt freshman that was supposed to a shooter/perimeter guy the previous year. Armaan and Jerome both started slow which affected their season 3pt% big time (Jerome 30.2% Armaan 26.6%), but in the last 15 games Hunter had the best 3pt% on the team and Armaan was tied with Al for 2nd (Jerome 42.86% Armaan 40.91%)
The fact that both Jerome and Armaan are likely to get more minutes/shots this year without Justin/Damezi/Devonte, as well as the fact that we're bringing in Leal to be another shooter and Lander to help space the floor, I find it a little weird to act like Archie hasn't done anything to bring in shooters
Agreed. He also did not know that Hunter was going to have a season ending issue to start his career and Romeo would have a smaller impact than most would have guessed.

Someone please erase the last two pages from the site! I repeat I will be at the game and do not want to alter the potential outcome of a visit.

My fear would be if RMK wanted to come but did not want it to get out and now people are hearing about it might make him change his mind.
Ok, now we must stop talking about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any word on what players plan on attending
I haven't heard anything. I just read on FB fan page, someone posted an article from visitblooming.com and it shows the game Saturday and part of the details show player reunion at half time.

I just read that there is a player reunion happening at half time during this game as well. 🤨

I am an insider and I say the cancer was not Romeo.
See how that works.
So was there a cancer on the team or is that just people guessing?

What ever happened to the thread that listed all IU players in the pros? I always liked keeping up with who is where and what contracts they signed.

Wasn't that long ago this whole thread would have been about Eric Gordon.
Gordon is a special player. I don't think he ever landed on the right team in the NBA to complement his talents.
